NuGliptin 50 tablet is prescribed to control high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus for adult patients above 18 years of age.

Vildagliptin .................................. 50 mg

 

Vildagliptin is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors class antidiabetic drugs.

NuGliptin 50 Tablet Uses :-

NuGliptin 50 tablet is an antidiabetic drugs, used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age. NuGliptin 50 tablet is also used in combination with other diabetes medicines. NuGliptin 50 tablet can be used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic drugs.
When NuGliptin 50 tablet is used along with a healthy diet and exercise, it helps a lot in controlling blood sugar. 

NuGliptin 50 Tablet Dosage :-

NuGliptin 50 tablet is a prescription medicine. Take NuGliptin 50 tablet as directed by your doctor. Use NuGliptin 50 tablet exactly as directed by the doctor. Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor. NuGliptin 50 tablet should be taken immediately before or with a meal. Never self-medicate or change the dosage without a doctor's advice.
Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time. And always try to take NuGliptin 50 tablet on regular schedule. Always take the tablet even if you feel well or your blood sugar level is under control. Do not stop taking without your doctor's advice. Otherwise, your blood sugar level may rise again. Do not stop taking NuGliptin 50 tablet without asking your doctor. Because the treatment of diabetes is lifelong.

How Does NuGliptin 50 Tablet ( Vildagliptin ) Work :-

NuGliptin 50 tablet contains : Vildagliptin.

Vildagliptin works by increasing the amount of insulin produced by our body. It also decreases the amount of glucagon produced by the pancreas. Glucagon causes your liver to produce more sugar, so by reducing the amount of glucagon in your body, it also helps lower your blood sugar levels. Vildagliptin lowers the amount of glucose in the blood. 

Thus NuGliptin 50 tablet works by controlling the level of sugar in the blood.

NuGliptin 50 Tablet Sideeffects :-

Like all medicines, NuGliptin 50 tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.

Some common side effects like -

Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia),

Dizziness,

Abdominal pain,

Headache,

Swollen hands and feet,

Constipation,

Sick,

Feeling tired,

and many other side effects can occur.
