Obstela 5 mg Uses :-

This tablet ( Obeticholic acid ) is used for the treatment of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) in adults, Which is done in adult people with ursodeoxycholic acid combination, People in whom ursodeoxycholic acid has not responded adequately.

Obstela 5 mg Dosage :-

This medicine ( Obeticholic acid ) is a prescription medicine. 
Take it as directed by your doctor.

How Obstela 5 mg ( Obeticholic acid ) Works :-

This tablet contains an Obeticholic Acid.

Obeticholic acid stimulates the farnesoid X receptor, the farnesoid X receptor regulates the synthesis and transport of bile acids, lipid metabolism and glucose levels. Obeticholic acid inhibits bile acid synthesis and increases bile acid secretion. It reduces the bile acid pool in the liver and therefore prevents its toxic effects. Therefore, it helps in improving liver function.
