Composition :-

Olmesartan medoxomil .................. 40 mg

Hydrochlorothiazide .................... 12.5 mg

Olmesartan medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blockers.

Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic.

Uses :-

This tablet ( Olmesartan Medoxomil & Hydrochlorothiazide combination ) is used for the treatment of High blood pressure ( Hypertension ).

This tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Thus reducing high blood pressure reduces the chances of future heart attack, other heart problems and stroke.

Dosage :-

This tablet ( Olmesartan Medoxomil & Hydrochlorothiazide combination ) is a prescription medicine. Take the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

Try to take this medicine at a fixed time each day. And if you stop taking it without consulting your doctor. So your situation may get worse. Or bloodpressure may increase.

It is important to continue taking it regularly even if you feel well or if your bloodpressure is controlled. And this medicine is considered safe for long-term use.

Special warnings and precautions for use in pregnancy -

This medicine should not be used during pregnancy. Olmesartan can damage your pregnancy or cause injury and death in a developing fetus.

Sideeffects :-

The most common side effects of this tablet -

These sideeffects usually do not happen to everyone.

Low Blood Pressure (hypotension),
Urinary tract infection,
Muscle or Joint pain,
Swelling of the ankles, feet, and hands,
Dizziness,
Headache,
Tiredness,
Diarrhea and many other side effects. 

And apart from this there can be some side effects. Those that have not been mentioned. However, if you experience any sideeffets more, and if these do not subside, consult your doctor
