Monocef O CV DT Composition :-


This tablet contains a combination of two drugs.

Cefpodoxime Proxetil IP
equivalent to Cefpodoxime ……………… 100 mg

Clavulanate Potassium diluted IP
equivalent to Clavulanic Acid …………… 62.5 mg

Cefpodoxime proxetil is a cephalosporin class antibiotic. 
Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor.


Monocef O CV DT Uses :-


Monocef O CV DT is an antibiotic medicine.
It is used for various types of bacterial infections is used to treat.
Such as,
Respiratory tract infections,
Pharyngitis/tonsillitis (infection of the throat),
Ear infections,
Urinary tract infection,
Skin structure & skin infections,
Infections of the sinuses, lungs, airways or trachea.
This antibiotic tablet only treats bacterial infections and not useful for viral infections (such as, common cold & flu).


Monocef O CV DT Dosage :-


This antibiotic tablet should be taken as directed by physician.

This antibiotic tablet should be taken with food and it should be taken with sufficient amount of water. 
This antibiotic tablet should be swallowed whole without chewing.
It should always be taken at regular intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and complete the course of treatment even if you do not feel down.

Always try to take this antibiotic medicine at fixed time, and complete the course of antibiotic tablet.


Monocef O CV DT Sideeffects :-


Like all medicines, this medicine can have side effects, although it does not affect everyone.

Some sideeffects such as -

Diarrhea,
