Biprostiva 50 Tablet is an androgen receptor inhibitor called an anti-androgen, and it is prescribed to treat metastatic prostate cancer.

Biprostiva 50 tablet Uses :-

Biprostiva 50 Tablet is used to treat metastatic prostate cancer ( that started in the prostate and has spread to other parts of the body).

Bicalutamide is used with another type of hormone therapy called a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analog. These medicines reduce the amount of testosterone in the body. Using bicalutamide with an LHRH analog may slow or stop the growth of prostate cancer.

This tablet contains of :

Bicalutamide ....................... 50 mg

Bicalutamide is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen.

Biprostiva 50 tablet Dosage :-

Biprostiva 50 tablet is a prescription medicine, and must be taken exactly as directed by the doctor.

Bicalutamide is usually taken once a day, either in the morning or evening, with or without food. Take bicalutamide at around the same time(s) every day.

Always take this medicine at prescribed time and take this medicine on a fixed schedule.

Bicalutamide -

Bicalutamide is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen, also called an androgen receptor inhibitor, or anti-androgen. Prostate cancer requires the male hormone testosterone to grow. Bicalutamide works by blocking the effect of androgen (a male hormone) to stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Bicalutamide It blocks the action of testosterone on cancer cells and blocks testosterone from reaching the cancer cells. Bicalutamide slows the growth of cancer and reduces it.
