Clavidur 625 tablet is a type of antibiotic medicine. It helps fight bacterial infections of various parts of the body such as the lungs, airways, ears, nasal sinuses, throat, urinary tract, skin, bone, joints, soft tissues and teeth.
Clavidur 625 tablet will not work for infections caused by viruses including the common cold and flu.

Amoxycillin ............................ 500 mg
Clavulanic Acid .................... 125 mg
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic medicine.
Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor.
Clavidur 625 Tablet Dosage :-
Clavidur 625 tablet is a prescription medicine, and it should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
Clavidur 625 tablet dosage or duration is given according to the age of the patients or the symptoms of the bacterial infections. Its dosage may vary for each patient.
Clavidur 625 tablet should be taken as per your doctor's suggestion. Clavidur 625 tablet should be taken after meals as the chances of stomach upset are less. The course of Clavidur 625 tablet should be completed even if you feel better because Clavidur 625 tablet is an antibiotic, and skipping it in between can lead to re-infection.

Clavidur 625 tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin 500mg and Clavulanic Acid 125mg.
Amoxicillin -
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic medicine. Amoxicillin works by stopping the multiplication of growth of the bacteria responsible for the infection, and it kills the bacteria responsible for the infection.
Clavulanic acid -
Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Clavulanic acid enhances the activity of amoxicillin against bacteria. and helps the amoxicillin to function optimally.
Thus, the Clavidur 625 tablet helps to prevent the infections caused by bacteria in the body.
Precautions :-
Clavidur 625 tablet during pregnancy should be used only if clearly prescribed by the physician.
Clavidur 625 tablet should be used by lactating women only if clearly prescribed by the physician.
Patients with kidney disease should use Clavidur 625 tablet with caution as advised by your doctor, as use of Clavidur 625 tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Patients with liver disease Clavidur 625 tablet should be used with caution as per consulting your doctor.
