Cytomid 250 Tablet

Cytomid 250 Tablet is an androgen receptor inhibitor called an anti-androgen, and it is prescribed to treat metastatic prostate cancer.

Cytomid 250 tablet Uses :-

Cytomid 250 Tablet is used to treat prostate cancer.

Flutamide is used with another type of hormone therapy called a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analog. These medicines reduce the amount of testosterone in the body. Using Flutamide with an LHRH analog may slow or stop the growth of prostate cancer.

This tablet contains of :

Flutamide ....................... 250 mg

Flutamide is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen.

Cytomid 250 tablet Dosage :-

Cytomid 250 tablet is a prescription medicine, and must be taken exactly as directed by the doctor.

This medicine ( Flutamide ) should be taken after food. 

Always take this medicine at prescribed time and take this medicine on a fixed schedule.

Diarrhea,

Getting nausea,

Nausea vomiting,

Loss of appetite,

Stomach ache,

Breast enlargement in men,

Feeling hot,

Decreased sexual desire,

Anorexia,

Swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs,

Leukaemia,

Dark urine,

Skin rashes,

Falling asleep,

Yellowing of the skin,

& there can be many other side effects as well as some side effects.

Flutamide -

Flutamide is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen, also called an androgen receptor inhibitor, or anti-androgen. Prostate cancer requires the male hormone testosterone to grow. Flutamide works by blocking the effect of androgen (a male hormone) to stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Flutamide, It blocks the action of testosterone on cancer cells and blocks testosterone from reaching the cancer cells. Flutamide slows the growth of cancer and reduces it.
