Montemac L Syrup is generally prescribed for children, to treat symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose, stuffy nose, itching, swelling, itchy or watery eyes and common cold.

Montemac L Syrup Uses :-

Montemac L Syrup is used to relieve symptoms of allergies such as sneezing and runny nose, stuffy nose, itching, swelling, itchy or watery eyes and common cold.

It helps in controlling the symptoms associated with asthma.

It is effective in treating itching, rash, swelling along with skin allergies.

Montemac L Syrup Composition :-

Montemac L Syrup combination of two drugs -

Levocetirizine Hydrochloride .......... 2.5 mg

Montelukast Sodium ........................... 4 mg

Levocetirizine is an antihistamine or anti-allergic medicine.
Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist.

Montemac L Syrup Dosage :-

Montemac L Syrup is a prescription medicine, and it should be given exactly as prescribed by the doctor.

This Syrup should be given before or with food. Its dosage or duration is given according to the age of the children or the symptoms of the disease. Its dosage may vary for each children.

Montemac L Syrup is usually given once/twice a day.

Levocetirizine

Levocetirizine is an antihistamine or anti-allergic medication. It blocks the effect of a chemical messenger called histamine, which naturally helps in relieving allergy symptoms.

Montelukast

Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist, that is. It inhibits the chemical messenger leukotriene, which reduces swelling and inflammation in the nose. It reduces swelling in the airways and makes breathing easier.

Thus, both these Syrup help in reducing and relieving the symptoms of allergy.
