Metatime 1000 XR Tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Metatime 1000 XR Tablet helps to control blood sugar level and prevents serious complications of diabetes.
By lowering or controlling blood sugar levels in this way, you can reduce your risk of serious complications of diabetes such as kidney damage, nerve problems, eye damage and loss of organs.
When Metatime 1000 XR Tablet is used along with a healthy diet and exercise, it helps a lot in controlling blood sugar.

Metatime 1000 XR Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown no or no adverse effects on the developing baby.
Breastfeeding : Safe
Metatime 1000 XR Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that metformin does not represent any risk to the baby.
Driving : Caution
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too high or low during treatment with Metatime 1000 XR Tablet. Do not drive if you have these symptoms.
Kidney : Caution
Metatime 1000 XR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Metatime 1000 XR Tablet may be needed. Consult your doctor for this. Use of Metatime 1000 XR Tablet is generally not advised in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while you are taking Metatime 1000 XR Tablet.
Liver : Caution
Metatime 1000 XR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Metatime 1000 XR Tablet may be needed. Consult your doctor for this. Low dose of Metatime 1000 XR Tablet is generally started in patients with mild liver disease and use of Metatime 1000 XR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Alcohol : Unsafe
It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Metatime 1000 XR Tablet. Therefore, do not consume alcohol after taking Metatime 1000 XR Tablet.
