Riomet OD 850 Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown no or no adverse effects on the developing baby.
Breastfeeding : Safe
Riomet OD 850 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that metformin does not represent any risk to the baby.
Driving : Caution
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too high or low during treatment with Riomet OD 850 Tablet. Do not drive if you have these symptoms.
Kidney : Caution
Riomet OD 850 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Riomet OD 850 Tablet may be needed. Consult your doctor for this. Use of Riomet OD 850 Tablet is generally not advised in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while you are taking Riomet OD 850 Tablet.
Liver : Caution
Riomet OD 850 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Riomet OD 850 Tablet may be needed. Consult your doctor for this. Low dose of Riomet OD 850 Tablet is generally started in patients with mild liver disease and use of Riomet OD 850 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Alcohol : Unsafe
It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Riomet OD 850 Tablet. Therefore, do not consume alcohol after taking Riomet OD 850 Tablet.
