Dorsun Eye Drop Uses :-
Dorsun eye drop is used to treat glaucoma, a gradual loss of vision due to increased pressure in the eye due to glaucoma.

Dorsun eye drop is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Dorsun eye drop works by reducing the pressure in the eye.
Dorsun eye drops may be prescribed for other uses. For more information consult your doctor.


Dorsun Eye Drop Dosage :-
Dorsun eye drop is a prescription medicine. Use Dorsun eye drop as directed by your doctor. Use Dorsun eye drop exactly as directed by the doctor.
Dorsun eye drops are usually instilled three times a day.
Dorsun eye drops controls glaucoma but does not cure glaucoma. Continue to use Dorsun eye drops even if you feel well. Do not stop using Dorsun eye drops without asking your doctor.
If you have forgotten to take a dose, enter the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next dose, then the missed dose should be skipped. And take the rest of the dose for that day at equal intervals. Do not add a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Like all medicines, Dorsun eye drop can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like :
Eye irritation, stinging, or discomfort after instilling the drops,
Bitter taste after instillation,
Sensitivity to light,
Upset stomach,
Vomit,
Itchy eyes,
Redness or swollen eyes,
Wet eyes,
Dryness,
Skin rash.
Dorsun eye drops may cause other side effects as well. Contact your doctor if you experience any symptoms while using Dorsun eye drop.

Some Precaution :-
Before using Dorsun eye drop -
• If you are allergic to Dorzolamide, sulfa drugs, or other antibiotics.
• Tell your doctor that you are taking certain medicines such as -  Prescription or nonprescription medicines, especially eye medicines, medicines that contain aspirin, and vitamins.
• If you have kidney disease, tell your doctor before taking Dorsun eye drops.
• Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, tell your doctor before taking Dorsun eye drops.
• If you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell your doctor that you are using Dorsun eye drops.
• If you are using any other topical eye medication, add the other medicine at least 10 minutes before or after instilling Dorsun eye drops.
• Tell your doctor if you wear soft contact lenses. You should remove your contact lenses before inserting Dorsun eye drops and put them back at least 15 minutes later.
