Urinary Tract Infection Symptoms Cause & Treatment
Urinary Tract Infection ( UTI ) :
An infection of any part of your urinary system, such as an infection of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, bladder, or urinary tract.
Most commonly urinary tract infection occurs in women. which occurs in the urethra or bladder.
Physicians usually treat urinary tract infections with antibiotics.
Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Symptoms :
Some symptoms of urinary tract infection such as -
• Pain while urinating,
• Pelvic pain,
• Blood in the urine,
• Burning when urinating,
• Frequent urination,
• A small amount of urine,
• Feeling that urination is not completely done,
• Smelly urine,
• Dark urine,
• Cloudy urine,
Urinary Tract Infection Causes :
Urinary tract infections usually occur when bacteria enter the urinary tract through the urethra and start multiplying in the bladder.
The most common UTIs occur mainly in women which affect the bladder and urethra.
• Infection of the bladder (cystitis).
Most commonly, a urinary bladder infection type UTI is caused by Escherichia coli (E. coli), a bacteria commonly found in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. And sometimes other bacteria are also responsible.
• Infection of the urethra (urethra).
Urethral infection occurs when GI bacteria spread from the anus to the urethra. Also because the female urethra is closer to the vagina, sexually transmitted infections, such as gonorrhea, herpes, mycoplasma and chlamydia, cause urinary tract infections.
Prevention :
Drink cranberry juice, drink plenty of fluids, especially water, to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections as water helps to dilute your urine.
