Fixtral Capsule Uses :-
Fixtral Capsule is an antifungal medicines. Fixtral Capsule is used to treat the symptoms of fungal infections of different parts of the body. It is used in the treatment of fungal infections such as on the skin, nails and toes, mouth, vagina, throat, lungs, chest and back. Fixtral Capsule works by stopping the growth of the fungus responsible for causing the infection. Fixtral Capsule inhibits the growth of the fungus and helps in treating the symptoms of fungal infection such as itching and rashes. Fixtral Capsule can be used alone or in combination with other drugs.
Fixtral Capsule Dosage :-
Fixtral Capsule food should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended to take Fixtral Capsule after meal and with plenty of water. Fixtral capsules should be swallowed whole. Do not open, chew, or crush the Fixtral Capsule. Do not exceed the dosage as advised by the doctor. Take Fixtral Capsule at the same time each day.
Do not take antacids within two hours of taking Fixtral Capsule. Therefore, antacids delay the absorption of the medicine Fixtral Capsule. If your symptoms are relieved after a few days of taking Fixtral Capsule, do not stop taking Fixtral Capsule without consulting your doctor. Stopping Fixtral Capsule suddenly can cause the infection to reappear and become resistant to further treatment. If you do not notice any change in your condition after taking Fixtral Capsule then you should consult your doctor.
How Does Fixtral Capsule Work :-

Fixtral Capsule Sideeffects :-
Like all medicines, Fixtral Capsule can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like -
Diarrhea,
Nausea,
Stomach pain,
Swelling,
Dizziness,
Tiredness,
Headache etc.
There may be some side effects like . Also, emergency medical help should be sought if symptoms such as skin rash, tingling sensation in the hands and feet, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or neck occur.
Precautions :-
• It is not recommended to take Fixtral Capsule to people with severe heart or history of heart failure.
• Pregnant women should avoid taking Fixtral Capsule, especially in the first trimester as itraconazole can cause fetal harm.
• Breastfeeding women should take this medicine only after consulting a doctor. Fixtral Capsule is excreted in breast milk in very small amounts.
• Avoid taking Fixtral Capsule. If you have symptoms like skin rash, itching/swelling (especially on face/tongue/lips/throat), shortness of breath, etc., consult a doctor immediately.
• Fixtral Capsule can cause moderate to severe side effects on your liver in people with a history of liver problems. So it should be taken as per consultation with your doctor.
