1. Cico 1 % Cream Composition :-
Cico 1 % cream contains :Ciclopirox Olamine ..................... 1% w/w
Ciclopirox olamine is a synthetic antifungal agent.

3. Cico 1 % Cream Uses :-
Cico 1 % cream is an antifungal medicine. Cico 1 % cream is specify for the topical treatment of the following dermal infections such as athlete's foot ( tinea pedis ), jock itch ( tinea cruris ) and ringworm infections ( tinea corporis ) because of Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, and Microsporum canis; candidiasis (moniliasis) because of Candida albicans; and tinea (pityriasis) versicolor because of Malassezia furfur.
4. Cico 1 % Cream Dosage :-
Cico 1 % Cream is prescribed by your doctor.
Cico 1 % Cream for external use only.
Cleanse and dry the affected areas fully before application of Cico 1 % cream.
Smoothly massage Cico 1 % cream into the affected and surrounding skin areas two time daily, in the morning and evening.
Clinical development with relief of pruritus and other symptoms usually take place within the first week of treatment. If a patient shows no clinical development after four weeks of treatment with Cico 1 % cream, the diagnosis must be redetermined. Patients with tinea versicolor commonly exhibit clinical and mycological clearing after two weeks of treatment.
Finish the full course of treatment even if your symptoms starts to clear up after a few days.
5. Cico 1 % Cream Sideeffects :-
Like all medicines, Cico 1 % Cream can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Pruritus
• Burning,
If you undergo any side-effects, inform to your doctor.
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.
6. How Dose Cico 1 % Cream Work :-
Cico 1 % Cream is an antifungal medicine that consist of Ciclopirox Olamine.
Ciclopirox Olamine is a synthetic, broad-spectrum, antifungal agent.
Ciclopirox is a hydroxypyridone antifungal agent that react by chelation of polyvalent cations (Fe3+ or Al3+), resulting in the inhibition of the metal-dependent enzymes that are responsible for the degradation of peroxides within the fungal cell.
Thus, Cico 1 % Cream treat fungal infections of the skin.
7. Precautions & Warnings :-
• Cico 1 % Cream for external use only. Cico 1 % Cream is not for ophthalmic use.
• Cico 1 % Cream is contraindicated in individuals who have shown hypersensitivity to Ciclopirox Olamine.
• If a reaction suggesting sensitivity or chemical irritation should take place with the use of Cico 1 % Cream, treatment must be discontinued and proper therapy instituted.
• Information for Patients :
The patient should be told to:
Use the medication for the full treatment time even though symptoms can have get better and tell the physician if there is no improvement after four weeks.
Tell to the physician if the area of application shows signs of more irritation (redness, itching, burning, blistering, swelling, or oozing) indicative of possible sensitization.
Ignore the use of occlusive wrappings or dressings.
• Pregnant Women :
There are no sufficient or well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Hence, Cico 1 % Cream must be used during pregnancy only if potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
• Lactating Women :
It is not known if this drug is eject in human milk. Because many drugs are eject in human milk, caution should be exercised when Cico 1 % Cream is administered to a nursing woman.
• Pediatric Patients :
Safety and success in pediatric patients below the age of 10 years have not been established.
