Etofex 120 tablet is prescribed for the treatment of allergic symptoms like runny nose, congestion or stuffiness, sneezing, itching, swelling and watery eyes.

Etofex 120 Tablet Composition :-

Etofex 120 tablet contains -
Fexofenadine ............................ 120mg
Fexofenadine is an antihistamine.

Etofex 120  Tablet Uses :-

Etofex 120 tablet is treatment of allergic symptoms like runny nose, congestion or stuffiness, sneezing, itching, swelling, and watery eyes.
Etofex 120 tablet also work in treatment of  skin allergies with itching, redness, and swelling.
Etofex 120 tablet is it may cause less sleepiness as compared to other similar medicines.

Etofex 120 Tablet Dosage :-

Etofex 120 tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Etofex 120 can be taken before or after food as recommended by the doctor.
Dosage of Etofex 120 tablet you will be prescribed will depend on your health condition.
Etofex 120 tablet should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water.
Etofex 120 tablet should not be crushed, broken or chewed.
You should not stop taking Etofex 120 tablet you have to continue for as long as your doctor prescribed you. You must  not stop taking Etofex 120 tablet without informing your doctor.

How Dose Etofex 120 Tablet Work :-

Etofex 120 tablet contains of : Fexofenadine.
Fexofenadine -
Fexofenadine is an antihistamine. Fexofenadine blocks the release of a chemical named histamine, histamine is responsible for causing inflammation and it is associated  to symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, and irritation.
Thus, Etofex 120 tablet helps to reduce and relieve the symptoms of allergies.
Do not take any medicines by your own or recommend your medicine to another person even if you see the same type of  symptoms in that person. Consult your doctor to get the most satisfaction. Inform your doctor  if you are having any problems or issue related to the kidneys, liver, or heart. If you are Pregnant or  breastfeeding mothers you should not take Etofex 120 tablet without consulting or informing a doctor.

Etofex 120 Tablet Sideeffects :-

Like all medicines, Etofex 120 tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like -
Headache,
Drowsiness,
Dizziness,
Nausea and there can be many other side effects as well as some side effects. Those that have not been mentioned. However, if you have any experience of any sideeffets and if they do not reduce then consult your doctor.

Precautions :-

• While taking Etofex 120 tablet svoid drinking fruit juices (such as apple or orange) because this may affect the absorption of Etofex 120 tablet and cause more side effects.
• You should not use antacids 30 minutes before or after taking this Etofex 120 tablet. It can make it harder to absorb this medicine in your body.
• It is not classified that whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Etofex 120 tablet. Please consult your doctor.
• If you are pregnant then it is not safe to take Etofex 120 tablet although there are some limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown some harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing Etofex 120 tablet to you. Please consult your doctor.
• Etofex 120 tablet is totally safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies confirmed that Fexofenadine does not pass into the breastmilk in a notable amount.which  is not harmful to the baby inside you.
Etofex 120 tablet would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed babies due to low level milk and lack of sleepiness.
• Etofex 120 tablet does not  affect your potencial to drive. But you should check that Etofex 120 tablet does not make you feel dizzy or sleepy before driving or operating any machinery.
• Patients with kidney disease should use Etofex 120 tablet with caution. Dose adjustment of Etofex 120 tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Etofex 120 tablet may cause unrestricted sleepiness in patients with last stage kidney disease.
• Etofex 120 tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Etofex 120 tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor before taking Etofex 120 tablet.
• Never prescribe Etofex 120 tablet to any other person who seems to be suffering from a same illness. If your doctor prescribe you Etofex 120 tablet then only you should take it.
• It may cause vomiting. Daily eat simple meals, and do not eat rich or spicy food.
