Oesophageal Candidiasis :

Vaginal Candidiasis :
Vaginal candidiasis is a fungal infection that give rise to pain, itching, and burning sensation with uncommon discharge from the vagina (female sex organ and birth canal). Flukem 150 tablet is used to treat vaginal candidiasis.
Fungal Urinary Tract Infection :
An infection in any part of your urinary system is known as fungal urinary track infection.That is the kidneys, bladder, or urethra caused by Candida species. Flukem 150 tablet is use to treat urinary tract infections caused by fungi.

Peritonitis is a swelling of the peritoneum (a membrane that lines the inner abdominal walls and covers your abdominal organs) caused by either bacteria or fungi. This results in critical pain in the abdomen, nausea, fever etc. Flukem 150 tablet is used in the treatment of peritonitis lead by fungi.

Candidemia is a fungal infection of the blood and is caused by Candida species of fungi. Flukem 150 tablet is use to treat candidemia.
Prophylaxis of Infections in Special Population
Flukem 150 tablet is used to cure the risk of fungal infection in people receiving chemotherapy (the use of medicines to harm cancer cells), or after a bone marrow transplantation (treatment to shift the bone marrow with healthy cells).

Flukem 150 tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Take Flukem 150 tablet at the same time daily you take. Do not crush, break or chew the Flukem 150 tablet.

8. Precautions & Warnings :-
• Flukem 150 tablet is not prescribed for use if you are allergic to fluconazole.
• Flukem 150 tablet can be taken with or without food.
• Continue to take Flukem 150 tablet for the suggested duration even if you feel nice after a few doses as it may grow the risk of re-infection.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before having Flukem 150 tablet.
• Flukem 150 tablet is not prescribed for use in your pregnancy as it can harm your foetus. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant.
• Breast-feeding :
Flukem 150 tablet is safe for use while breastfeeding. However, stop taking this medicine without informing your doctor.
• Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or any medical conditions.
• Liver Disease
Flukem 150 tablet must be used with caution if you have any liver problems as Flukem 150 tablet is broken down in your liver. An impaired liver will not use the medicine properly, giving rise to increased levels of unused medicine in your blood. It can also lead to further liver damage.
• Kidney Disease
Flukem 150 tablet must be used with caution if you have any kidney problems as a damaged kidney may gove rise to accumulation of unused medicine in your body and higher the risk of side effects. Your doctor can suggest another suitable medicine or manage the dose accordingly based on your condition.
• Heart condition
Flukem 150 tablet must be used with caution if you have any heart problems as Flukem 150 tablet can cause QT prolongation (a condition in which your heart muscles take a longer time to recharge between a heartbeat). Thus, it can further worsen your situation.
• Report all your present medicines to your doctor before taking the treatment as they can interact with Flukem 150 tablet and lead to side effects.
• Flukem 150 tablet is not suggested for use if you are allergic to it. Take immediate medical attention if you undergo symptoms like skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), critical dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
• Flukem 150 tablet can cause QT prolongation (a state in which your heart muscles take a longer time to recharge between a heartbeat) in some cases. Hence, this medicine is not suggested for use together with other medicines that can cause QT prolongation like Cisapride, Primozide, Quinidine, etc. as it can further worsen your condition.
• Flukem 150 tablet can cause skin conditions in which you may get painful rashes and blisters on your skin that ultimately begin to peel off. Hence, tell your doctor if you develop a skin rash during treatment with Flukem 150 tablet.
• Flukem 150 tablet cab occasionally give rise to dizziness or seizures (sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in your brain). Hence, stop activities like driving or operating machines if you undergo any such symptoms.
• Stop activities like driving vehicles or operating machines while taking Flukem 150 tablet as it can normally cause dizziness.
• Interaction with Alcohol :
Interaction with alcohol is not known. It is suggested to consult your doctor before taving Flukem 150 tablet.

• Stop taking more than the suggested dose. Avoid driving or operating machines if you have dizzyness or lightheaded after taking Flukem 150 tablet. Tell your doctor if your condition does not get better after few days or if it worsens.
• Flukem 150 tablet can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach discomfort etc. Inform with your doctor if these side effects are continue or getting worse.
