Hemolok Gel Uses :-

Hemolok Gel is a hemostatic agent, Hemolok Gel is used in the treatment of bleeding associated with burns and wounds.

Hemolok Gel is useful for stopping bleeding from wounds and burns. Hemolok Gel (Feracrylum) has antiseptic properties, these antiseptic properties help in faster healing of wounds by preventing wound infection.
Wound Care -
Hemolok Gel is used for post-operative wound dressing, dental extraction, oral surgery, dressing of various types of wound, surgical procedures for dressing of burn area, packing of abscess, post-operative packing for use in epistaxis, sub mucus resection is done. Hemolok Gel prevents infection of the wound by stopping the bleeding and speeds up the healing process.

How Hemolok Gel Works :-

Hemolok Gel is an hemostatic agent that consist of Feracrylum.
Feracrylam is a hemostatic (controlling bleeding) agent. Feracrylam works by activating a type of enzyme (thrombin). This enzyme (thrombin) promotes clotting and combines with blood proteins to form a gel-like substance that covers the surface of the wound, and stops the flow of blood.
Thus, Hemolok Gel treat to bleeding associated with burns and wounds.

Precautions & Warnings :-

Allergy
Hemolok Gel is not recommended for use in patients with known history of allergy to the ingredients feracrylam present in it or any other inactive ingredients present in it.
Pregnancy
Hemolok Gel is not recommended for use by pregnant women. Hemolok Gel should be used only if the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Pregnant women should avoid using Hemolok Gel over-the-counter. Consult your doctor before using Hemolok Gel.
Breast feeding
