Momate cream belongs to a group of medicines known as topical corticosteroids. Momate cream is effective in treating skin conditions with inflammation and itching like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. Momate cream works by decresing the actions of chemicals in the body that give rise to inflammation of the skin. When used correctly it is a safe and helpfull treatment. In treating psoriasis, it lower the scaly, itchy patches which may develop on the elbows, knees, scalp and other parts of the body. In treating eczema and dermatitis, it lowers the redness, rash, pain, or itchiness caused by your skin’s reaction to an irritant. It thus better your self-esteem and confidence as your appearance changes.

You should always use Momate cream properly as your doctor has told you. Do not use Momate cream for more than the suggested duration. Lay out it as a thin layer onto the skin. Do not cover the area being treated with a bandage or plaster till your doctor tells you to. You should use Momate cream daily but do not apply large amounts or use it for longer than prescribed. Tell your doctor if your condition does not get better after 2 weeks of treatment.
Clean and dry the affected area and put in the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
If you miss a of Momate cream, apply it as dose fast as it is possible. Although, if it is almost time for your next dose, leave the missed dose and go back to your daily schedule. Do not double the dose.
