Directions For Use :-

Propynate NF cream should be advised by your doctor.
Propynate NF cream for external use only.
It should be use in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. You should clean and dry the affected area and apply it thinly and evenly over the area. You should not use it too frequently and more than what your doctor has recommended. Avoid covering the area being treated with airtight dressings like bandages, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

Beclometasone dipropionate Cream should be applied inadequately over the whole of the affected area and gently rubbed in. At first, application should be made twice daily, but when improvement is seen, the intervals between applications can be extended and treatment actually stopped. If no development is seen within two to four weeks, reassessment of the diagnosis, or referral can be necessary. After end of treatment, should the condition recur, twice daily treatment should be re-instituted. However, when improvement is seen again, the intervals between applications can be normally extended until maintenance dosing of application every third or fourth day is achieved. This is probable to avoid subsequent reappearance of the condition.

Propynate NF Cream Sideeffects :-

Like all medicines, Propynate NF cream can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some side effects like -
• Redness of the skin which can increase to areas beyond the initial affected area,
• Burning or stinging sensation,
• Itch,
• Skin peeling,
• Pustules.
Prolonged treatment with Propynate NF cream can lead to local atrophic changes in the skin like thinning, striae, and dilatation of the superficial blood vessels, mainly when occlusive dressings are used or when skin folds are involved.

Precautions :-

• Avoid the use of Propynate NF cream if you have allergy to Beclometasone.
• Propynate NF cream should not be applied to the eyes, rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, primary cutaneous viral infections (e.g. herpex simplex, chickenpox), varicose ulcers or any of the other stasis ulcers.
• Use of Propynate NF cream is not specify in the treatment of primarily infected skin lesions caused by infection with fungi (e.g. candidiasis, tinea) or bacteria (e.g. impetigo); primary or secondary infections because of yeasts; perianal and genital pruritus; dermatoses in children under 1 year of age, including dermatitis and napkin eruptions.
• Long-term continuous therapy should be avoided where possible, mostly in infants and children, as adrenal suppression can take place even without occlusion.
• The face, more than other areas of the body, can exhibit atrophic changes after prolonged treatment with Propynate NF cream. This should be borne in mind when treating like conditions as psoriasis, discoid lupus erythematosus and critical eczema. If put in to the eyelids, care is needed to ensure that the preparation does not enter the eye, as glaucoma might result.
• If Propynate NF cream used in youth, or on the face, courses should be restricted if possible to five days.
• Propynate NF cream can be side effects in psoriasis for a number of reasons including rebound relapses, development of tolerance, risk of generalised pustular psoriasis and development of local or systemic toxicity due to impaired barrier function of the skin. If used in psoriasis careful patient management is main.
• Long term constant or inappropriate use of Propynate NF cream can result in the development of rebound flares after stopping treatment (topical steroid withdrawal syndrome). A serious form of rebound flare can grow which takes the form of a dermatitis with intense redness, stinging and burning that can lay out beyond the initial treatment area. It is more probable to occur when delicate skin sites like the face and flexures are treated. Should there be a repetition of the condition within days to weeks after successful treatment a withdrawal reaction should be suspected. Reapplication should be with caution and specialist advise is suggested in these cases or other treatment options should be considered.
• Proper antimicrobial therapy should be used whenever treating inflammatory injury which have become infected. Any spread of infection need withdrawal of Propynate NF cream therapy and systemic administration of antimicrobial agents.
• Bacterial infection is inspired by the warm, moist conditions induced by occlusive dressings, and so the skin should be cleansed before a fresh dressing is applied.
• Fire hazard in touch with dressings, clothing and bedding.
• Patients not to smoke or go near naked flames - risk of serious burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings etc) that has been in touch with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard. Washing clothing and bedding can lower product build-up but not totally remove it.
• There is inadequate proof of safety in human pregnancy. Propynate NF cream to pregnant women can give rise to abnormalities of foetal development including cleft palate and intrauterine growth retardation. There can therefore be a very little risk of such effects in the human foetus.
