Rivizole cream is an antifungal medicine. Rivizole cream is prescribed to treat various fungal infections of the skin such as athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm infections.

Rivizole Cream Uses :-
Rivizole cream is used to treat various fungal infections of the skin such as athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm infections.
It harm and stops the growth of fungi by damaging their cell wall, thereby killing them.
Directions For Use :-
Rivizole cream should be advised by your doctor.
Rivizole cream for external use only.
Cleanse and dry the affected areas fully before application of Rivizole cream.
Do not use Rivizole cream for durations more or less than prescribed by your doctor.
Apply a thin layer of Rivizole Cream to the affected area as instructed by the doctor.
Finish the full course of treatment even if your symptoms starts to clear up after a few days.
How Dose Rivizole Cream Work :-
Rivizole cream is an antifungal cream that consists of Miconazole.
Miconazole :
Miconazole works by stopping the growth of fungi by disrupting the fungal cell wall, mostly killing them. Thus, Rivizole cream treat fungal skin infections.
Rivizole Cream Sideeffects :-
Like all medicines, Rivizole cream can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like -
• Skin rash,
• Burning, itching, and irritation of the skin,
• Redness of the skin,
• Dry skin.
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.
Precautions & Warning :-
• Avoid the use of Rivizole cream if you have allergy to miconazole.
• Rivizole cream can cause lenient side effects like itching, burning sensation, irritation and redness at the site of application. Inform your doctor if these side effects continue or worsen. If you are allergic to it do not use Rivizole cream.
• Rivizole cream is for outer use only.
• Properly clean and dry the affected area before applying Rivizole cream.
• Apply a thin layer of Rivizole cream on the affected parts of your skin.
• Avoid in touch with your eyes and mouth. Wash with water immediately if the medicine comes in touch with these areas.
• Avoid using other medications on the same area while you are using Rivizole cream.
• Rivizole cream can take a few days or weeks for better your condition. Therefore, it is advised not to stop and complete the whole treatment with Rivizole cream as recommended.
• Tell your doctor if you have liver problems before apply Rivizole cream.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before apply Rivizole cream.
• Inform your doctor if the condition has not got better even after six weeks of treatment.
• Rivizole cream is safe to be used in pregnancy. Although, if you are pregnant inform your doctor before using this cream.
• Breast-feeding
Applying Rivizole cream to your nipple can increase the risk of diarrhoea in the newborn. Inform your doctor before using it during breastfeeding.
• External use only
Rivizole cream is suggested for external use only. Avoid in touch with the eyes, mucous membranes, or open wounds. Wash with water in case of accidental touch. If the Rivizole cream is swallowed, take immediate medical help.
• Skin irritation
Rivizole cream can cause critical irritation of the skin in some people. Stop using Rivizole cream and talk to your doctor if you observe any skin reactions such as blisters, hives, severe rash etc.
• Interactions :
All drugs interact differently for person to person. You should check all the possible interactions with your doctor before starting any if Rivizole cream.
• Interaction with Alcohol:
Interaction with alcohol is unknown. It is suggested to talk to your doctor before consumption.
• Interaction with Medicine :
Dicumarol
Anisindione
Blood thinners medicine etc.
• Rivizole cream is an external preparation. Avoid in touch with the mouth, eyes, nose, and, ears. In case of accidental contact, wash completely with water.
• Do not use Rivizole cream for durations more or less than prescribed by your doctor.
• Apply a thin layer of Rivizole cream to the affected area as instructed by the doctor.
• It can apply many days to see the effects of Rivizole cream.
• Finish the full course of treatment even if your symptoms starts to clear up after a few days.
• Stop scratching or pricking the affected area as it can worsen the infection.
• Make sure that unused medicine is disposed of properly. Keep the medicine away from children and pets. Not to freeze Rivizole cream.
