Roliten 2 tablet is prescribed for the treatment of urge incontinence and/or increased urinary frequency and urgency as may occur in patients with overactive bladder syndrome.

3. Dosage forms & Strength :-

4. Roliten 2 Tablet Uses :-
Roliten 2 tablet is used for the treatment of an overactive bladder, a state characterized by symptoms like a often feeling of a need to urinate, sudden urge to urinate, uncapacity to control urination, leaking of urine etc.

Roliten 2 tablet is used to treat symptoms like involuntary urination, uncontrolled leakage of urine, a often feeling of a need to urinate, a sudden urge to urinate, etc. Connected with an overactive bladder.
5. Roliten 2 Tablet Dosage :-
Roliten 2 tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
The recommended dosage of Roliten 2 tablet is 2 mg twice a day.
Roliten 2 tablet can take with or without food.
Roliten 2 tablet should not take in larger amounts than prescribed.
Do not stop taking Roliten 2 tablet before completion of the course/without asking to your doctor.
Roliten 2 tablet take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, avoid the missed dose. Do not take twice your dose to make up for the dose you missed.
Take emergency medical treatment or talk the doctor in case of an overdose.
6. Roliten 2 Tablet Sideeffects :-
Roliten 2 tablet shows side effects such as :
• Headaches,
• Dry mouth,
• Dry skin,
• Abdominal pain,
• Constipation,
• Dizziness,
• Blurred vision,
• Dry eyes,
• Chest pain,
• Indigestion.
Most of these side effects are not significant sufficient and resolve with time. If any of these side effects continue or worsen, tell your doctor at the earliest.
7. How Dose Roliten 2 Tablet Work :-
Roliten 2 tablet contains : Tolterodine.
Tolterodine is a muscarinic receptor antagonist.
Tolterodine relaxes the urinary bladder muscles, this helps the bladder to maintain a larger amount of urine and cure the symptoms of an overactive bladder. Thus, Roliten 2 tablet treat the urge incontinence and/or increased urinary frequency and urgency as may occur in patients with overactive bladder syndrome.
8. Precautions & Warnings :-
• Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in patients who have allergy to tolterodine, fesoterodine, or any other inactive ingredients available along with the formulation.
• Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in patients less than 18 years of age.
• Narrow angle glaucoma :
Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in patients suffering from uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
• Gastric retention :
Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in patients suffering from gastric retention due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
• Severe liver impairment :
Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in patients suffering from critical liver function impairment due to the increased risk of main adverse effects.
• Urinary retention :
Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in patients suffering from urinary retention, a state where the patient is not able to empty the bladder, due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
• Pregnancy :
Roliten 2 tablet is not recommended for use in pregnant women till it is necessary. All the risks and benefits should be sorted with the doctor before taking this medicine.
• Breast-feeding :
Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in breastfeeding women till it is necessary. All the risks and benefits should be cleared with the doctor before taking Roliten 2 tablet. If Roliten 2 tablet is used, near monitoring of the infant for any undesired side effects is suggested.
• Use in children :
Roliten 2 tablet is not prescribed for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
• Angioedema and anaphylactic reactions :
Roliten 2 tablet can give rise to angioedema (swelling) of the face, lips, tongue, etc. as not well as critical allergic reactions in some patients. Take immediate medical intervention if any such reactions develop. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative can be important based on the clinical condition.
• Central nervous system side effects :
Roliten 2 tablet can give rise to central nervous system side effects like a headache, confusion, hallucinations, sleepiness, etc. in some patients. It is ordered that you should not perform any activities like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you undergo any such symptoms during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative cN be important based on the clinical condition.
• Driving or operating machinery :
The use of Roliten 2 tablet can cause symptoms like dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, etc. in some patients. It is ordered that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you undergo any of these symptoms.
• Interaction with Alcohol :
Drinking of alcohol is not suggested during treatment with Roliten 2 tablet due to the increased risk of side effects like dizziness and drowsiness. It is ordered that you should not perform any activities that needed high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you drink alcohol during treatment with Roliten 2 tablet.
• Roliten 2 tablet is interaction with medicine Ciprofloxacin, Atenolol, Topiramate, Itraconazole, Chlorpheniramine and Zonisamide.
Disease interactions
• Central nervous system disorders ;
Roliten 2 tablet should be used with caution in patients having central nervous system disorders like Parkinson's disease, preexisting dementia, etc. Because of the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of the clinical condition, suitable dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative can be necessary based on the clinical condition.
• Myasthenia Gravis :
Roliten 2 tablet should be used with very caution in patients undergo from myasthenia gravis due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of the clinical condition, suitable dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative can be important based on the clinical condition.
• QT Prolongation :
Roliten 2 tablet should be used with caution in patients with a known history of QT prolongation or patients receiving medications known to prolong QT interval due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
