4. Ultican 50 DT Tablet Uses :-
Ultican 50 DT tablet is a anti-fungal medicine. Ultican 50 DT tablet is used in the treatment of various fungal infections, skin, lungs, mouth, throat and other parts of the body involving fingernails and toenails.
Ultican 50 DT tablet works by ending the growth of fungi, thus cure the spread of infections.
5. Ultican 50 DT Tablet Dosage :-
Ultican 50 DT tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Take Ultican 50 DT tablet at the same time daily you take.

Disperse the tablet in a tablespoon ( 15ml ) of boiled and cooled water before administration.

7. How Dose Ultican 50 DT Tablet Work :-
Ultican 50 DT tablet contains : Fluconazole.

8. Precautions & Warnings :-
• Ultican 50 DT tablet is not prescribed for use if you are allergic to fluconazole.
• Ultican 50 DT tablet can be taken with or without food.
• Continue to take Ultican 50 DT tablet for the suggested duration even if you feel nice after a few doses as it may grow the risk of re-infection.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before having Ultican 50 DT tablet.
• Ultican 50 DT tablet is not prescribed for use in your pregnancy as it can harm your foetus. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant.
• Breast-feeding :
Ultican 50 DT tablet is safe for use while breastfeeding. However, stop taking this medicine without informing your doctor.
• Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or any medical conditions.
• Liver Disease
Ultican 50 DT tablet must be used with caution if you have any liver problems as Ultican 50 DT tablet is broken down in your liver. An impaired liver will not use the medicine properly, giving rise to increased levels of unused medicine in your blood. It can also lead to further liver damage.
• Kidney Disease
Ultican 50 DT tablet must be used with caution if you have any kidney problems as a damaged kidney may gove rise to accumulation of unused medicine in your body and higher the risk of side effects. Your doctor can suggest another suitable medicine or manage the dose accordingly based on your condition.
• Heart condition
Ultican 50 DT tablet must be used with caution if you have any heart problems as Ultican 50 DT tablet can cause QT prolongation (a condition in which your heart muscles take a longer time to recharge between a heartbeat). Thus, it can further worsen your situation.
• Report all your present medicines to your doctor before taking the treatment as they can interact with Ultican 50 DT tablet and lead to side effects.
• Ultican 50 DT tablet is not suggested for use if you are allergic to it. Take immediate medical attention if you undergo symptoms like skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), critical dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
• Ultican 50 DT tablet can cause QT prolongation (a state in which your heart muscles take a longer time to recharge between a heartbeat) in some cases. Hence, this medicine is not suggested for use together with other medicines that can cause QT prolongation like Cisapride, Primozide, Quinidine, etc. as it can further worsen your condition.
• Ultican 50 DT tablet can cause skin conditions in which you may get painful rashes and blisters on your skin that ultimately begin to peel off. Hence, tell your doctor if you develop a skin rash during treatment with Ultican 50 DT tablet.
• Ultican 50 DT tablet cab occasionally give rise to dizziness or seizures (sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in your brain). Hence, stop activities like driving or operating machines if you undergo any such symptoms.
• Stop activities like driving vehicles or operating machines while taking Ultican 50 DT tablet as it can normally cause dizziness.
• Interaction with Alcohol :
Interaction with alcohol is not known. It is suggested to consult your doctor before taving Ultican 50 DT tablet.
• Interactions :
All drugs does not interact same for person to person. You should check all the possible interactions with your doctor before taking any medicine.
• Interaction with Medicine
• Alprazolam,
• Atorvastatin,
• Cisapride,
• Erythromycin,
• Warfarin.
• Take Ultican 50 DT tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Ultican 50 DT tablet can be taken with or without food, as ordered by your doctor.
• Stop taking more than the suggested dose. Avoid driving or operating machines if you have dizzyness or lightheaded after taking Ultican 50 DT tablet. Tell your doctor if your condition does not get better after few days or if it worsens.
• Ultican 50 DT tablet can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach discomfort etc. Inform with your doctor if these side effects are continue or getting worse.
