How Borviz 3.5 Injection Works :-
Borviz 3.5 Injection consists of : Bortezomib.
Bortezomib is a proteasome inhibitor.
Bortezomib activates and inhibits the proteasome enzyme complex within the cell. Proteasome is part of the cellular machinery and has many functions within the cell, like it helps to control the level of many of the proteins that help to regulate cell division and cell survival. By interfering with its function this can give rise to apoptosis (cell suicide). In laboratory, it has shown that cancer cells are more susceptible to the effects of proteasome inhibitors, than normal cells are. In multiple myeloma, bortezemib works by obstructing the activation of adhesion molecules that allow plasma cells to "nest" in the bone marrow.
Thus, Borviz 3.5 Injection treats multiple myeloma or mantle cell lymphoma.
