Zustpen 300 Injection is prescribed to treat infections of the urinary tract, lungs, airways, bones, joints, organs around the abdomen such as pancreas, liver, gallbladder, inner lining of the heart and blood etc.
Zustpen 300 Injection Composition :-
Zustpen 300 Injection consists of : Biapenem 300 mg.
Biapenem is a carbapenem antibiotic.
Zustpen 300 Injection Uses :-
Zustpen 300 Injection is an antibiotic medicine. Zustpen 300 Injection is used to treat infections of the urinary tract, lungs, airways, bones, joints, organs around the abdomen such as pancreas, liver, gallbladder, inner lining of the heart and blood etc.
Zustpen 300 Injection Dosage :-
Zustpen 300 Injection is given by your doctor or nurse at the hospital. Do not self-inject Zustpen 300 Injection.
Zustpen 300 Injection Side-effects :-
Like all medicines, Zustpen 300 Injection can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Nausea,
• Diarrhea,
• Fever,
• Fits,
• Vomiting,
• Itching,
• Rashes,
• Skin allergy,
• Dizziness,
• Abdominal discomfort
• Low blood pressure,
• Falling asleep,
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.
Precautions & Warnings :-
• Talk to your doctor Contact your doctor if you have nausea, burning sensation, vomiting, low blood pressure and heart rate after taking Zustpen 300 Injection.
• If you experience any kind of allergy to Zustpen 300 Injection which can be very severe, contact your doctor immediately.
• If you experience fits, mental confusion after taking Zustpen 300 Injection. or if you have a history of brain disease, tell your doctor
• If you experience watery diarrhea and black tarry stools after taking Zustpen 300 Injection, or if you experience other infections while on treatment with Zustpen 300 Injection.
• If you have a pre-existing liver disorder, it may develop again after taking Zustpen 300 Injection.
• Reduced dosage of Zustpen 300 Injection may be required if you have kidney disease.
• Use of Zustpen 300 Injection is not recommended in children especially with kidney problems.
• Zustpen 300 Injection interacts with other drugs such as:
- If you are taking certain antiviral medicines such as ganciclovir, you may have a seizure.
- Valproic acid, a medicine used to treat seizures, may not be able to control seizures.
- Warfarin may increase the chances of bleeding which may prevent blood clotting.
- Medicines used to treat gout, such as probenecid.
