How Aspirin Works :-
Aspirin / Acetylsalicylic acid is an antiplatelet drug. Aspirin / Acetylsalicylic acid inhibits the action of an enzyme that binds platelets together to form a blood clot. When a clot forms in a blood vessel, blood flow is blocked, which is dangerous in cases of heart attack and leads to chest pain (angina) or stroke. Aspirin / Acetylsalicylic acid in small amounts works by preventing these platelets from clotting so that the blood can flow smoothly through the arteries without blockage.
Thus, Aspirin to treat prevent clots in the blood vessels.
