Brivasure Injection is an anti-epileptic medicine. Brivasure Injection is used for the treatment of epileptic-onset seizures in adults, adolescents, and children 2 years of age.
Brivasure Injection Dosage :-
Brivasure Injection is a prescription medicine. Brivasure Injection for Intravenous administration only.
People who are unable to take oral medication are temporarily given Brivasure Injection by IV.
Brivasure Injection is to be diluted in the recommended solution or given without dilution.
Brivasure Injection is given into a vein over 2 to 15 minutes.
Brivasure Injection Side-effects :-
Like all medicines, Brivasure Injection can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Dizziness,
• Somnolence,
• Depression,
• Anxiety,
• Insomnia,
• Convulsion,
• Vertigo,
• Cough,
• Nausea,
• Vomiting,
• Fatigue,
• Decreased appetite,
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

Brivaracetam Works by connecting to specific sites (SV2A) on the surfaces of nerve cells in the brain. Brivaracetam reduces the abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain and prevents the spread of electrical signals that cause seizures.
Thus, Brivasure Injection treats epileptic-onset seizures.

• Brivasure Injection for Intravenous administration only.
• Brivasure Injection is given into a vein over 2 to 15 minutes.
• Brivasure Injection is to be diluted in the recommended solution or given without dilution.
• Before taking Brivasure Injection tell your doctor if you have depression or suicidal thoughts, you have kidney problems, pregnant women or are planning to become pregnant.
• You should not breast-feed while taking Brivasure Injection.
• Avoid alcohol while taking Brivasure Injection. Alcohol increases the risk of seizures leading to increased side effects like drowsiness and dizziness.
• Your kidney function will need to be tested frequently while you are taking Brivasure Injection.
