Corsita 100 Tablet is prescribed to control high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus for adult patients above 18 years of age.

Corsita 100 Tablet consists of : Sitagliptin Phosphate 100 mg.
Sitagliptin phosphate is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors.

Corsita 100 Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine. Corsita 100 Tablet is used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.
Corsita 100 Tablet is also used alone or in combination with certain other medicines such as insulin, metformin, sulfonylurea or glitazone.
Corsita 100 Tablet helps to increase the levels of insulin produced after a meal and decreases the amount of sugar made by the body.
Corsita 100 Tablet Dosage :-
Corsita 100 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Corsita 100 Tablet as directed by your doctor.
The recommended dose of Corsita 100 Tablet once daily. Corsita 100 Tablet can be taken with or without food.
Corsita 100 Tablet should be swallowed whole and tablets must not be split, crushed, or chewed before
swallowing.
Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor.
Neverr self-medicate or change the dosage without a doctor's advice.
Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time. Always try to take Corsita 100 Tablet on regular schedule.

Precautions & Warnings :-
• Corsita 100 Tablet is not intended for the treatment of type 1 diabetes type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis,
• Do not take Corsita 100 Tablet, if you are allergic to sitagliptin or any of the other ingredients of Corsita 100 Tablet.
• Tell your doctor if you have or have had:
Disease of the pancreas (such as pancreatitis) gallstones, alcohol dependence or very high levels of triglycerides (a form of fat) in your blood. These medical conditions can increase your chance of getting pancreatitis.
• It is not effective in children and adolescents between the ages of 10 and 17 years. It is not known if Corsita 100 Tablet is safe and effective when used in children younger than 10 years.
• Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
• In particular, tell your doctor if you are taking digoxin (medicine used to treat irregular heartbeat & other heart disease). The level of digoxin in your blood may need to be checked if taking with Corsita 100 Tablet.
• Pregnancy and breast-feeding :
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking Corsita 100 Tablet.
- You should not take Corsita 100 Tablet during pregnancy.
- It is not known if Corsita 100 Tablet passes into breast milk. You should not take Corsita 100 Tablet if you are breast-feeding or plan to breast-feed.
• Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking Corsita 100 Tablet as it may increase the risk of some sideeffects.
• Continue to take medicine regularly - treatment for diabetes is lifelong.
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose, and one should try to take it at the same time every day.
• Do not stop taking it without asking your
diabetologist doctor otherwise blood sugar may increase.
• Regularly monitor your blood sugar level while taking Corsita 100 Tablet.
