Halobetasol Propionate is an corticosteroid medicine used to treat the symptoms of skin conditions like eczema (thick, dry, and itchy skin), dermatitis (irritation of the skin), psoriasis (a condition in which skin cells grows and cause dry, itchy, and scaly patches), etc.
Halobetasol Propionate works by blocking certain chemicals in your body that give rise to swelling, itching, and irritation.

Halobetasol Propionate Dosage :-

Halobetasol Propionate is a prescription medicine. 
Halobetasol Propionate for external use only, and apply a thin layer of Halobetasol Propionate to the affected skin once or twice daily, as directed by your physician.
Halobetasol Propionate do not apply large amounts, or use it for longer than prescribed. Tell your doctor if your condition does not get better after 2 weeks of treatment.
If you miss a of Halobetasol Propionate, apply it as dose fast as it is possible. Although, if it is almost time for your next dose, leave the missed dose and go back to your daily schedule. Do not double the dose.

• Halobetasol Propionate can be used with caution while breastfeeding. Although, topical application to the nipple area can grow the risk of side effects in your baby. Avoid breastfeeding if you have put on this medicine around your nipples.
• Halobetasol Propionate is not suggested for use in children below 12 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
• Halobetasol Propionate should not be used for more than two weeks untill suggestef by your doctor due to the increased risk of critical side effects.
• Halobetasol Propionate can cause growth retardation in some children when used for a long duration. Your child's doctor can suggest the minimum effective dose for the lowest duration possible to lower the chances of such side effects.
• Halobetasol Propionate is suggestef for use on the skin only. Avoid in touch with the eyes, mouth, wounds, or broken skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse fully with water.
