Halosol Cream consists of : Halobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/w.
Halobetasol propionate belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroid.
Halosol Cream Uses :
Halosol Cream is an corticosteroid medicine used to treat the symptoms of skin conditions like eczema (thick, dry, and itchy skin), dermatitis (irritation of the skin), psoriasis (a condition in which skin cells grows and cause dry, itchy, and scaly patches), etc.
Halosol Cream works by blocking certain chemicals in your body that give rise to swelling, itching, and irritation.
Halosol Cream Dosage :-
Halosol Cream is a prescription medicine.
Halosol Cream for external use only, and apply a thin layer of Halosol Cream to the affected skin once or twice daily, as directed by your physician.
Halosol Cream do not apply large amounts, or use it for longer than prescribed. Tell your doctor if your condition does not get better after 2 weeks of treatment.
Clean and dry the affected area, and put on the cream.
If you miss a of Halosol Cream, apply it as dose fast as it is possible. Although, if it is almost time for your next dose, leave the missed dose and go back to your daily schedule. Do not double the dose.

• Halosol Cream is not suggested for use in children below 12 years of age.
• Talk to your doctor if you are using any other topical medications or have other skin conditions before starting treatment with Halosol Cream.
• Ask your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using Halosol Cream.
• Halosol Cream is not suggested for use during pregnancy untill it is necessary. Ask your doctor if you are pregnant.
• Halosol Cream can be used with caution while breastfeeding. Although, topical application to the nipple area can grow the risk of side effects in your baby. Avoid breastfeeding if you have put on this medicine around your nipples.
• Halosol Cream is not suggested for use in children below 12 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
• Halosol Cream should not be used for more than two weeks untill suggestef by your doctor due to the increased risk of critical side effects.
• Halosol Cream can cause growth retardation in some children when used for a long duration. Your child's doctor can suggest the minimum effective dose for the lowest duration possible to lower the chances of such side effects.
• Halosol Cream is suggestef for use on the skin only. Avoid in touch with the eyes, mouth, wounds, or broken skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse fully with water.
• Diabetes refers to an grow in blood sugar levels. Rarely, Halosol Cream can lead to an increase in blood sugar levels. So, this medicine should be used with caution if you have diabetes.
• Halosol Cream works by decreasing the activity of the immune system thus, growing the risk of infections. Hence, it must be used with caution if you have active infections. Avoid using Halosol Cream for more than the suggested duration.

High doses of Halosol Cream must be used with caution as it can cause or worsen hyperadrenocorticism, in rare cases.
• Prolonged use of high doses of Halosol Cream can cause cataracts (a cloudy layer that forms in the lens of the eye) or increased fluid pressure inside the eye. So, it must be used with caution if you have a history of cataracts or glaucoma (an eye condition with abnormally high pressure inside the eye that can give rise to vision loss).
