Halox Lotion Composition :-

Halox Lotion consists of : Halobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/v.
Halobetasol propionate belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroid.

Halox Lotion Uses :

Halox Lotion is an corticosteroid medicine used to treat the symptoms of skin conditions like eczema (thick, dry, and itchy skin), dermatitis (irritation of the skin), psoriasis (a condition in which skin cells grows and cause dry, itchy, and scaly patches), etc.
Halox Lotion works by blocking certain chemicals in your body that give rise to swelling, itching, and irritation.

Halox Lotion Dosage :-

Halox Lotion is a prescription medicine.
Halox Lotion for external use only, and apply Halox Lotion to the affected skin once or twice daily, as directed by your physician.
Halox Lotion do not apply large amounts, or use it for longer than prescribed. Tell your doctor if your condition does not get better after 2 weeks of treatment.
Clean and dry the affected area, If you miss a of Halox Lotion, apply it as dose fast as it is possible. Although, if it is almost time for your next dose, leave the missed dose and go back to your daily schedule. Do not double the dose.

• Ask your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using Halox Lotion.
• Halox Lotion is not suggested for use during pregnancy untill it is necessary. Ask your doctor if you are pregnant.
• Halox Lotion can be used with caution while breastfeeding. Although, topical application to the nipple area can grow the risk of side effects in your baby. Avoid breastfeeding if you have apply on Halox Lotion around your nipples.
• Halox Lotion is not suggested for use in children below 12 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
• Halox Lotion should not be used for more than two weeks untill suggestef by your doctor due to the increased risk of critical side effects.
• Halox Lotion can cause growth retardation in some children when used for a long duration. Your child's doctor can suggest the minimum effective dose for the lowest duration possible to lower the chances of such side effects.
• Halox Lotion is suggestef for use on the skin only. Avoid in touch with the eyes, mouth, wounds, or broken skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse fully with water.
• Diabetes refers to an grow in blood sugar levels. Rarely, Halox Lotion can lead to an increase in blood sugar levels. So, this medicine should be used with caution if you have diabetes.
• Halox Lotion works by decreasing the activity of the immune system thus, growing the risk of infections. Hence, it must be used with caution if you have active infections. Avoid using Halox Lotion for more than the suggested duration.

So, it must be used with caution if you have a history of cataracts or glaucoma (an eye condition with abnormally high pressure inside the eye that can give rise to vision loss).
