Menostat Tablet is prescribed for the menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding).

Menostat Tablet Composition :-

Menostat Tablet consists of : Tranexamic Acid 250 mg and Ethamsylate 250 mg.
Tranexamic acid is a antifibrinolytic.
Ethamsylate is a hemostatic agent.

Menostat Tablet Uses :-

Menostat Tablet is use in the treatment of prolonged or menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding). Menostat Tablet cure the breakdown of blood clots in your body and also increases the capacity of platelets to stick together and helps in the formation of blood clots. Like this, Menostat Tablet effectively control excessive bleeding.

Menostat Tablet Dosage :-

Menostat Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Menostat Tablet exactly as your doctor tells you to take it, and can be taken with or without food.
Take Menostat Tablet in the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Do not increase your dose or take it more often, or take it for a longer time than recommend.
It is better to take Menostat Tablet at a fixed time every day.
If you miss a dose of Menostat Tablet, take Menostat Tablet as soon as you remember.

Like all medicines, Menostat Tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.

• Acquired Defective Color Vision :
Acquired defective colour vision represents a group of conditions that affect the perception of colour. Menostat Tablet is not suggested for use in people having defective colour vision since it can worsen the condition.
• Subarachnoid hemorrhage :
Subarachnoid haemorrhage is a critical condition characterized by bleeding in the outer layers of your brain. Menostat Tablet is not suggested for use in such cases.
• Obstructive blood clots disorder :
Menostat Tablet is not suggested for use if you have obstructive clotting disorders due to the grown risk of worsening your condition.
• Pregnancy :
Menostat Tablet is not suggested for use in pregnancy as it can harm your foetus. Ask your doctor to discuss benefits and risks, before taking Menostat Tablet.
• Breast-feeding :

• Use of contraceptives :
Menostat Tablet is not suggested for use in women using contraceptives (pills, patches, vaginal rings, or injections) since the risk of serious side effects is significantly high.
• Clotting disorders :
Menostat Tablet is not suggested for use if you have a history of clotting disorders or have an active clotting disorder. Caution must be exercised while having this medicine.
• Eye disorders :
Menostat Tablet is not suggestef for use if you have a history of any medical condition where the blood vessels of the eye are blocked due to clot formation.
• Kidney diseases :
Menostat Tablet must be used with caution if you have any kidney problems. An impaired kidney leads to the accumulation of Menostat Tablet that can worsen the condition. Your doctor can monitor the kidney function and can adjust the dose based on your health condition.
• Menostat Tablet can interaction with other medicine such as : Tamoxifen, Ethinyl Estradiol, Tretinoin and Factor IX complex etc.
