Trapic Tablet Composition :-

Trapic Tablet consists of : Tranexamic acid 500mg
Tranexamic acid is a anti-fibrinolytic.

Trapic Tablet Uses :-

Trapic Tablet is an anti-fibrinolytic medicine.
Trapic Tablet is use to treat uncontrollable bleeding conditions that are seen after tooth extraction, in menstruation, hemorrhage (the release of blood from a broken blood vessel), angioedema (painless swelling under the skin) etc.
Trapic Tablet is used for the clotting of blood.

Trapic Tablet is it recommend for :
• Menorrhagia :
Menorrhagia is a condition of lengthen and heavy menstrual bleeding. This is a normal condition in many women but some of the time it becomes importain to use medicines to control blood loss. Trapic Tablet is widely used to control blood loss in this condition.
• Hereditary Angioedema :
Hereditary angioedema is a condition in which swelling of the arms, legs, face, intestines, etc., can be seen and this swelling give rise to damage of blood vessels and develops internal bleeding. Trapic Tablet is also use in the treatment of Hereditary angioedema.
• Short-term Management of Hemorrhage :
A haemorrhage is a condition in which blood vessels are damaged and clots are formed So, blood flow reduced. At the same time, blood loss or internal bleeding is very high. Trapic Tablet is used to form stable clots which promote proper healing of blood vessels and lower the risk of critical conditions.
• Epistaxis :
Epistaxis is normally known as nose bleeding, is caused due to many underlying conditions like local trauma/injury, sinus infection, lengthen inhalation of dry air, etc. Trapic Tablet is used to lower the symptoms of Epistaxis.

Trapic Tablet works by slowing the blood clotting and this action cure loss of blood. It is the safest medicines that are use for controlling bleeding.

Trapic Tablet Dosage :-

Trapic Tablet is a prescription medicine.
Trapic Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
Trapic Tablet dose or duration and treatment will be decided by your doctor based on your health/medical condition and other underlying problems.
Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break Trapic Tablet.
It is better to take Trapic Tablet at a fixed time every day.
If you miss a dose of Trapic Tablet, take Trapic Tablet as soon as you remember. Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

Trapic Tablet Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Trapic Tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Nausea,
• Diarrhea,
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

How Trapic Tablet Works :-

Trapic Tablet consists of : Tranexamic acid.
Tranexamic acid works by stopping the formation of enzyme plasmin, which promotes the breakdown of fibrin clots to control unrestricted bleeding during periods, or after any surgery.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• Avoid using Trapic Tablet if you have allergy to tranexamic acid.
• Take immediate medical attention if you see any symptoms of allergic reactions like skin rash, itching/swelling (moatly of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty etc.
• Acquired Defective Color Vision :
Trapic Tablet is not suggested for use in people with defective colour vision/colour blindness (a condition in which the person may have difficulty in identifying different shades of colours) as Trapic Tablet has been reported to worsen this condition.
• Subarachnoid Hemorrhage :
Subarachnoid haemorrhage is a condition in which there is bleeding into the area between the brain and its outer covering because of the rupture of a blood vessel. Trapic Tablet is not suggested for use in such conditions as, it can worsen your health condition and cause critical side effects.
• Obstructive Blood Clotting Disorder :
Trapic Tablet is not suggested for use if you have clotting disorders of the heart and blood vessels as can give rise to critical side effects. The clots can also move from the place of origin and lodge in some other place.
• Pregnancy :
Trapic Tablet is normally safe to be used in pregnancy. It is not known to cause any harm to your foetus. However, if you are pregnant, talk your doctor before taking Trapic Tablet.
• Breast-feeding :
Trapic Tablet is also safe to be used during breastfeeding. However, if you are breastfeeding, talk your doctor before taking Trapic Tablet.
• Trapic Tablet is not suggested for use in women using hormonal contraceptives (pills, patches, vaginal rings, or injections) as it can grow the risk of critical side effects.
• Clotting Disorders :
Trapic Tablet is not suggested for use if you have a history of clotting disorders or if you have an active disorder. 
• Eye Disorders :
Trapic Tablet is not suggested for use if you have a condition where the blood vessels of your eye are blocked due to clot formation.
• Kidney Diseases :
Trapic Tablet can increase the risk of kidney injury if you have any kidney problems. Your doctor can recommend some tests to monitor your kidney function while you are having a treatment with Trapic Tablet.
• Trapic Tablet is known to interact with many other medicines that you can be using. Detail the use of all medications to your doctor before taking Trapic Tablet.
• Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Trapic Tablet as can increase the risk of drowsiness and dizziness.
• Trapic Tablet can interaction with medicine such as : Tamoxifen, Ethinyl Estradiol, Tretinoin and Factor IX complex etc.
