Lotepred Eye Drop is used for treatment of redness or swelling in the eyes caused by infection or allergy. Lotepred Eye Drop give relief from redness, itchiness or soreness by preventing the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Lotepred Eye Drop is a prescription medicine, and for external/opthalmic use only.

• Itching eyes,
• Dry eyes.

How Lotepred Eye Drop Works :-

Lotepred Eye Drop consists of : Loteprednol etabonate.
Loteprednol etabonate is a steroid. Loteprednol etabonate which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
Thus, Lotepred Eye Drop  treats redness or swelling in the eye.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• Avoid using Lotepred Eye Drop if you are allergic to Loteprednol etabonate..
• If irritation persists or worsens during the use of Lotepred Eye Drop, the use of Lotepred Eye Drop muat be discontinued and your doctor should be consulted.
• Always wash your hands and don't touch the end of the dropper. This can infect your eye.
• Use the solution within one month of opening the Lotepred Eye Drop. If the solution is cloudy or dark brown in color, it should be discarded.
• Lotepred Eye Drops is not suggested for use in children less than 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
• It is not known whether Lotepred Eye Drop interacts with alcohol. Please talk to your doctor.
• Lotepred Eye Drops is not suggested to use during pregnancy unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with your doctor before using this medicine.

• If you miss a dose of Lotepred Eye Drop, use it as soon as you remember. So, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
