Torglip 50 tablet is prescribed to control high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus for adult patients above 18 years of age.

Torglip 50 tablet contains :

Vildagliptin .................................. 50 mg

 

Vildagliptin is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors class antidiabetic drugs.

Torglip 50 Tablet Uses :-

Torglip 50 tablet is an antidiabetic drugs, used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age. Torglip 50 tablet is also used in combination with other diabetes medicines. Torglip 50 tablet can be used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic drugs.
When Torglip 50 tablet is used along with a healthy diet and exercise, it helps a lot in controlling blood sugar. 

Torglip 50 Tablet Dosage :-

Torglip 50 tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Torglip 50 tablet as directed by your doctor. Use Torglip 50 tablet exactly as directed by the doctor. Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor. Torglip 50 tablet should be taken immediately before or with a meal. Never self-medicate or change the dosage without a doctor's advice.
Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time. And always try to take Torglip 50 tablet on regular schedule. Always take the tablet even if you feel well or your blood sugar level is under control. Do not stop taking without your doctor's advice. Otherwise, your blood sugar level may rise again. Do not stop taking Torglip 50 tablet without asking your doctor. Because the treatment of diabetes is lifelong.

How Does Torglip 50 Tablet ( Vildagliptin ) Work :-

Torglip 50 tablet contains : Vildagliptin.

Vildagliptin works by increasing the amount of insulin produced by our body. It also decreases the amount of glucagon produced by the pancreas. Glucagon causes your liver to produce more sugar, so by reducing the amount of glucagon in your body, it also helps lower your blood sugar levels. Vildagliptin lowers the amount of glucose in the blood. 

Thus Torglip 50 tablet works by controlling the level of sugar in the blood.

Torglip 50 Tablet Sideeffects :-

Like all medicines, Torglip 50 tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.

Some common side effects like -

Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia),

Dizziness,

Abdominal pain,

Headache,

Swollen hands and feet,

Constipation,

Sick,

Feeling tired,

and many other side effects can occur.
