Macpod 50 DT is used to treat Typhoid fever in children. This medicine prevents or kills the bacterial infection from multiplying.
Macpod 50 DT tablet helps prevent bacterial infections of the child's body.
Macpod 50 DT tablet will not work in children for infections caused by viruses, including the common cold and flu.

Cefpodoxime is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative groups of bacteria. Cefpodoxime works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis (which is essential for the survival of bacteria). Cefpodoxime helps treat and prevent the spread of bacterial infections by stopping the formation of bacterial cells.
