Dalstep tablet is used for the treatment of adults for multiple sclerosis (MS).
Dalstep tablet improves walking speed and walking in adults with multiple sclerosis (MS). and controls the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. Dalstep tablet may be used alone or in combination with other medicines.

Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease.
Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It is unknown whether Dalstep tablet will harm the unborn baby. This your doctor will decide.
Breastfeeding women. It is unknown whether dalfampridine passes into breast milk. It will be up to you and your doctor to decide whether you should take Dalstep tablet or breast-feed.
If you have a seizure while taking dalfampridine, stop taking dalfampridine and tell your doctor right away. You may have a seizure while taking Dalstep tablet,
Even if you've never had a stroke before. If you take too much Dalstep tablet you may have a mild decrease in kidney function, which is normal after the age of 50, making seizures more likely. For this your doctor may do a blood test to check this.
Dalstep tablet should not be taken with 4-aminopyridine (4-AP, fampridine), as its constituents are similar.
Dalstep tablet can cause serious side effects with severe allergic reactions. Such as difficulty in breathing, swelling of the tongue or throat and hives etc. If these symptoms occur, you should stop taking dalfampridine and seek help from your doctor.
