Niftas tablet is prescribed to treat urinary tract infections ( UTI ).
Niftas Tablet Composition :-
Nitrofurantoin .................................. 100mg

Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic drug.
Niftas Tablet Uses :-
Niftas tablet is used to treat urinary tract infections.
Niftas tablet works by killing the bacteria that cause the urinary tract infections.
Niftas tablet may be prescribed for other uses. For more information consult your doctor.
Niftas Tablet Dosage :-
Niftas tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Niftas tablet as directed by your doctor. Use Niftas tablet exactly as directed by the doctor. Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor.
Niftas tablet is usually taken for urinary tract infections twice a day for at least 7 days. Take it with a full glass of water and food.
You should start to feel better during your first few days of treatment with Niftas tablet. If symptoms do not improve or get worse, consult your doctor.
Keep taking Niftas tablet until you have completed treatment, even if you feel better. If you stop taking Niftas tablet too soon or skip doses, the infection may become more difficult to treat and the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next dose, then the missed dose should be skipped. And take the rest of the dose for that day at equal intervals. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Niftas tablet contains : Nitrofurantoin.
Nitrofurantoin :
Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic drug. Nitrofurantoin works by killing the bacteria that cause the infection. Thus Niftas tablet works by to treat urinary tract infections.
Niftas Tablet Sideeffects :-
Like all medicines, Niftas tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like :
Dark yellow or brown urine,
Nausea,
Vomit,
Loss of appetite,
Shortness of breath,
Excessive fatigue,
Fever or chills,
Pain in chest,
Coughing up,
Numbness or tingling,
Muscle weakness,
Swelling of the tongue or lips,
Skin rash,
Niftas Tablet may cause other side effects as well. If you experience any symptoms while taking Niftas Tablet.

Some Precaution :-
Before taking Niftas Tablet -
• If you are allergic to Niftas Tablet. So tell your doctor.
• Tell your doctor that you are taking certain medications such as antacids, antibiotics, benztropine, diphenhydramine, probenecid, and trihexyphenidyl.
• If you have anemia, lung disease, kidney disease, nerve damage, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PD) deficiency. So tell your doctor before taking Niftas Tablet.
• Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding women taking Niftas Tablet Tell your doctor before taking Niftas Tablet.
Pregnant women should not take Niftas Tablet in the last month.
• Talk to your doctor about the safe use of Niftas Tablet in older people or people over 65 years of age. Older adults in general should not take Niftas Tablet because it is not as safe as other medicines.
• Niftas Tablet can make you drowsy. Do not perform mental tasks or operate machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.
• Ask your doctor about the safe use of alcohol while you are taking Niftas Tablet. Because alcohol can make the side effects of Niftas Tablet worse.
• Niftas Tablet can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Avoid prolonged or unnecessary sun exposure.
• If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next dose, then the missed dose should be skipped. And take the rest of the dose for that day at equal intervals. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
