Neurokem D 50/20 capsule is prescribed for the treatment of neuropathic pain.

Neurokem D 50/20 Capsule Composition :-

Neurokem D 50/20 capsule combination of two drugs :

Pregabalin ................... 50 mg

Duloxetine ................... 20 mg

Pregabalin is an anti-epileptic drug.

Duloxetine is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) antidepressant.

Dosage forms & Strength :-

Neurokem D 50/20 Capsule Uses :-

Neurokem D 50/20 capsule are used in the treatment of neuropathic pain connected with diabetic peripheral neuropathy or postherpetic neuralgia, and fibromyalgia.

Neurokem D 50/20 Capsule Dosage :-

Neurokem D 50/20 capsule should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Neurokem D 50/20 capsule be Swallow whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Neurokem D 50/20 capsule can be taken with or without food. However, it is recommend to take it at the same time each day as this helps to control a compatible level of medicine in the body. Take Neurokem D 50/20 capsule in the dose and duration suggested by your doctor as this is habit forming medicine. If you miss a dose of Neurokem D 50/20 capsule, take imediate as you remember. Neurokem D 50/20 capsule combination of two antidiabetic drugs : Pregabalin & Duloxetine.

Pregabalin :

Pregabalin is an anti-epileptic drug. 

Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which reduce pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

Duloxetine :

Duloxetine is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) which grow the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

Neurokem D 50/20 Capsule Sideeffects :-

Like all medicines, Neurokem D 50/20 capsule can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.

Some common side effects like :

• Nausea,

•Constipation,

• Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping),

• Sleepiness,

• Headache,

• Dizziness,

• Tiredness,

• Ejaculation disorder,

• Erectile dysfunction,
