4. Benina Tablet Uses :-
Benina tablet is a used for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris (a type of chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart).
Benina tablet promotes the relaxation of blood vessels which reduces blood pressure and strain on the heart.

Hypertension :
Hypertension is high blood pressure that does not have a clearly identifiable cause but can be due to various factors like genetics, poor diet, obesity or lack of exercise. Over time, high blood pressure can give rise to blood vessel damage that leads to heart problems, kidney problems, and stroke. Benina tablet is used in the treat hypertension. It lower the increased blood pressure and better blood flow.
Angina Pectoris :
Angina pectoris is a heart condition characterized by chest pain. It take place when the heart muscle does not get sufficient blood as required. The symptoms include squeezing, pressure, heaviness, tightness or pain in the chest. Benina tablet is used in the treatment of angina pectoris. 5. Benina Tablet Dosage :-
Benina tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Benina tablet is to be taken with food to avoid stomach discomfort.
Benina tablet dose and duration will be prescribed by your doctor depending on your blood pressure level.

8. Precautions & Warnings :-
• Avoid taking Benina tablet if you have allergi to it. This could cause to symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (mostly of the face/tongue/throat), breathing difficulty, hives (painful eruptions that itch and sting), etc.
• Tell your doctor immediately if you undergo a loss of appetite and discolouration of your skin or eyes.
• Benina tablet can cause some side effects such as headache, tiredness, swelling of hands and feet, rash, sensitivity to light, increased heart rate, etc. Tell your doctor if any of the side effects become critical or persist for a long time.
• Benina tablet can lead to lightheadedness, dizziness in some people. Hence, you should not drive vehicles or operate machines after taking Benina tablet.
• Pregnancy :
Benina tablet is not suggested to be used in pregnancy as it can cause harm to your developing foetus. Tell your doctor before using Benina tablet if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
• Breast-feeding :
Benina tablet is not suggested to be used if you are breastfeeding as it can be harmful for your infant. Have a conversation about all the benefits and risks with your doctor before taking Benina tablet.
• Liver disease :
Benina tablet should be used with caution if you have liver problems due to the increased risk of critical side effects. Benina tablet is broken down and absorbed in the liver. If you take this medicine while you have pre-existing liver problems, it can worsen your condition further.
• Use in children :
Benina tablet is not suggested for use in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy of the use of benidipine are not clinically established.
• Driving or operating machinery:
Using Benina tablet can cause symptoms like blurred vision, lightheadedness and dizziness. It is ordered that you should not perform any activities like driving vehicles or operating machines if you undergo any of these symptoms during treatment while taking Benina tablet.
• Use in Elderly :
Benina tablet must be used with caution in old people due to the increased risk of very low blood pressure. Your blood pressure required to be monitored daily while using Benina tablet. Your doctor will begin the treatment at low doses and increase the dose based on the response.
• Benina tablet can give rise to sleepiness and dizziness so try not to do activities that require mental focus, mostly at the begin of the treatment or until you know how this medicine will affect you.
• Do not eat potassium-rich food as it can increase the potassium level in your blood. Avoid taking grapefruit juice with Benina tablet as it can increase the level of this medicine in your blood. Be alert while standing up from sitting or lying down position as this medicine can give rise ti a sudden drop in your blood pressure which can make you dizzy.
• Benina tablet can give rise to swelling in your ankles and feet so try lifting your legs while you are sitting.
• Hypotension or cardiogenic shock :
Benina tablet is not prescribed for use when you have low blood pressure or cardiogenic shock (a life-threatening condition where your heart abruptly stops pumping blood). Using Benina tablet will further refuced your heart’s capacity to pump blood and lower your blood pressure and heart rate significantly.
• Liver disease :
Take Benina tablet with caution if you have liver problems because of the increased risk of crotical side effects. Your doctor can order blood tests to see your liver enzyme levels.
• Coronary artery disease :
Benina tablet must be used with more caution if you have coronary artery disease (a condition where the blood vessels of your heart are damaged). Benina tablet can weaken the contractions of your heart and low down the heart rate which can worsen the condition and give rise to other serious consequences.
• Benina tablet interaction with other medicine such as antihypertensives drugs, Itraconazole, Cimetidine and Rifampicin etc.
• Interaction with alcohol is not known. It is ordered to inform your doctor before consumption.
