Mirabet 25 is used for symptomatic treatment of urgency, increased micturition frequency and/or urgency incontinence in patients with hyperactive bladder (OAB) syndrome.

Mirabet 25 Tablet Composition :-

Mirabet 25 tablet contains :
Mirabegron ............................ 25mg
Mirabegron is a selective beta 3-adrenoceptor agonist.

Dosage forms & Strength :-

Mirabet 25 tablet for oral use.

Mirabet 25  Tablet Uses :-

Mirabet 25 reduces the symptoms of overactive bladder. It does not treat the condition with symptoms of overactive bladder.
Symptoms of overactive bladder such as :
• Sudden and urgent need to urinate,
• Need to urinate more often than usual,
• Wetting yourself if you are not able to urinate on time,

Mirabet 25 Tablet Dosage :-

Mirabet 25 tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Mirabet 25 tablet is a usually taken one time in a day with or without food. Take linagliptin at the same time every day you take. You should follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and tell your doctor to explain any part that you do not understand. Do not take more or less of it or take it more frequently than recommend by your doctor.

Mirabet 25 starts working within a few hours of taking it but it may take several weeks to reach the full effect. And usually take mirabegron for a long time to help keep your symptoms under control.

How Dose Mirabet 25 Tablet Work :-

Mirabet 25 tablet contains : Mirabegron.
Mirabegron is a selective beta 3-adrenoceptor agonist.

The activation of beta-3 receptors relaxes detrusor smooth muscle during the storage phase of the urinary bladder fill-void cycle, which increases the bladder's storage capacity thereby alleviating feelings of urgency and frequency.

Thus, Mirabet 25 works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder. Reduces your need to urinate as often or urgently.

Mirabet 25 Tablet Sideeffects :-

Like all medicines, Mirabet 25  tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like -

• Urinary tract infection

• Tachycardia

• Nausea

• Constipation

• Diarrhoea

• Headache

• Dizziness can be many other side effects as well as some side effects. Those that have not been mentioned. However, if you have any experience of any sideeffets and if they do not reduce then consult your doctor.

Precautions :-

• Pregnancy :

There are no sufficient and well-controlled studies using Mirabet 25 in pregnant women. Mirabet 25 should be used during pregnancy only if the possible benefit to the patient outweighs the risk to the patient and fetus. Women who become pregnant during Mirabet 25 treatment are inspired to contact their physician.

• Nursing Mothers :

It is  unknown whether Mirabet 25 is eject in human milk. Mirabet 25 was found in the milk of rats at directions twice the maternal plasma level. Mirabet 25 was found in the lungs, liver, and kidneys of nursing pups. No studies have been arranged to evaluate the impact of Mirabet 25 on milk production in humans, its presence in human breast milk, or its effects on the breast-fed child. Because Mirabet 25 is forecast to be excreted in human milk and because of the potential for important adverse reactions in nursing infants, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the significant of the drug to the mother.

• Children :

The safety and success of mirabegron in children below 18 years of age have not  been till established. No data are available.

• Geriatric Use :

No dose adjustment is required for the elderly. The pharmacokinetics of Mirabet 25 is not seriously influenced by age.

• Hepatic Impairment :

Mirabet 25 has not been studied in patients with critical hepatic impairment, and therefore is not suggested for use in this patient population.
