Admark Gel is prescribed for the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients of 12 years of age and above.

Admark Gel Composition :-

Admark Gel consists of : Adapalene 0.1% w/w.
Adapalene belongs to a class of drugs called retinoids.

Admark Gel Uses :-

Admark Gel is used to treat Acne vulgaris in adolescents and adults.
Admark Gel is useful for the dermal treatment of mild to moderate acne where comedones, pustules and papules predominate.
Useful for acne treatment of face, back or chest.
Admark Gel contains the ingredients adapalene which is a third generation topical retinoid Adapalene has anti-comedogenic, comedolytic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Admark Gel Dosage :-

Admark Gel is a prescription medicine.
Admark Gel for external use only.
Admark Gel should be applied to the acne affected areas once a day.
A thin layer of gel should be applied with fingertips avoiding eyes and lips.
Take special care that the affected skin area is dry before application.
Admark Gel is usually applied at night, as exposure to sunlight after applying Edaferin Gel may cause skin irritation.
It is therefore advised to use treated skin sunscreen when stepping out during the day.
You may notice an increase in acne breakouts in the first weeks of using Admark Gel.
Do not discontinue treatment with Admark Gel because of this.
Results will usually be available after eight to twelve weeks of treatment.
If the condition of acne does not improve or gets worse, you should consult your doctor.

Admark Gel Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Admark Gel can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Hypersensitivity
Burning and stinging
Itching of skin
Redness of skin
Dry or scaly skin
If you undergo any side-effects, inform to your doctor.
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• Admark Gel is not for use in children under 12 years of age.
• If Admark Gel is overused, no faster or better results will occur and marked redness, peeling, or discomfort may occur.
• If skin sensitivity or severe irritating reaction occurs after or during application of Admark Gel, then application of Admark Gel should be stopped.
• Admark Gel should not come into contact with the eyes, mouth, angles of the nose, or mucous membranes.
• If Admark Gel accidentally gets in the eyes, then immediately wash the eyes with warm water.
Admark Gel should not be applied to broken (cuts and abrasions) sunburns or eczematous skin.
• Admark Gel should not be used on large areas of the body with severe acne.
• Exposure to sunlight and UV light radiation should be avoided while using Admark Gel.
Avoid exposure to excessive sunlight or UV radiation.
• Admark Gel is contraindicated in pregnancy or in women who are planning a pregnancy.
• There is limited clinical experience of adapalene in pregnancy, so do not use Admark Gel during pregnancy. If Admark Gel is used during pregnancy, or if she becomes pregnant during treatment with Admark Gel, treatment should be discontinued.
• The systemic exposure of a lactating woman to Admark Gel is negligible so Admark Gel can be used during breastfeeding. To avoid exposure to the infant, application of Admark Gel to the chest should be avoided during breast-feeding.
