How Davi OD 5 Tablet Works :-

Davi OD 5 Tablet combination of two antidiabetic drugs : Dapagliflozin & Vildagliptin.
Dapagliflozin :
Dapagliflozin works by blocking a protein in the kidney Which is called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2). SGLT2 is a protein Which absorbs glucose from the urine into the blood flow as it is filtered into the blood kidney.
By blocking the action of SGLT2, dapagliflozin causes the removal of excess glucose through urine, which reduces the level of glucose in the blood.
Vildagliptin :
Vildagliptin works by increasing the amount of insulin produced by our body. It also decreases the amount of glucagon produced by the pancreas. Glucagon causes your liver to produce more sugar, so by reducing the amount of glucagon in your body, it also helps lower your blood sugar levels. Vildagliptin lowers the amount of glucose in the blood.
Thus, Davi OD 5 Tablet works by controlling the level of sugar in the blood.
