What is Pidotimod used for :-

Pidotimod is used for different indications like asthma, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
Pidotimod is used to prevent and treat respiratory and urinary tract infection in patients with a compromised immune system.
Pidotimod is used along with other mainstream medications in the treatment and prevention of chronic bronchitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, infections of the urinary tract, etc.
Pidotimod helps to increase and improve immunity & prevents recurrent viral or bacterial infections in the airways.

Pidotimod Dosage :-

Pidotimod is a prescription medicine.
Take Pidotimod properly as your doctor tells you to take it.
Take Pidotimod exactly as directed by your doctor.
Pidotimod can be taken with or without food, as ordered by your doctor.
Do not take/administer in more or less quantities than recommended.
Your doctor can recommend Pidotimod single or in a combination with other antibiotics.

Pregnancy :

Kidney diseases :
Pidotimod has to be used with caution in patients with kidney diseases due to the increased risk of critical adverse effects. Daily monitoring of kidney function tests is necessary to safely use Pidotimod. 
Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative can be needed in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Diabetes mellitus :
Pidotimod must be used with caution in patients with diabetes due to the increased risk of critical adverse effects. Daily monitoring of blood glucose levels is necessary during taking this medicine. Use in children:
Pidotimod is not suggested for use in children less than 2 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established. It must be used with caution in patients less than 18 years of age and only under the observation of a qualified doctor.

Driving or operating machinery:
Use of Pidotimod can lead to drowsiness in some patients. It is suggest that you should not perform any activities like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you undergo drowsiness during treatment with Pidotimod.
