Alcarex KT Eye is an anti-allergy or anti-inflammatory medicine. Alcarex KT Eye is used to relieve irritation and itching of the eyes caused because to allergic conjunctivitis (swelling of the conjunctiva, the clear membrane that covers the front of the white part of the eye and inside of the eyelids
Alcarex KT Eye Drop Dosage :-
Alcarex KT Eye Drop is a prescription medicine, for external/opthalmic use.
Alcarex KT Eye Drop dose or duration and treatment will be decided by your doctor. Alcarex KT Eye Drop should normally be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening).

Alcarex KT Eye Drop Side-effects :-
Like all medicines, Alcarex KT Eye Drop can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effect.
• Eye irritation and discomfort,
• Redness and itching of the eye,
• Blurred vision and
• Burning or stinging of eyes.
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.
How Alcarex KT Eye Drop Works :
Alcarex KT Eye Drop consists of : Alcaftadine and Ketorolac.
Alcaftadine and Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Alcarex Eye Drops works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.
Thus, Alcarex KT Eye Drop treats post-operative eye pain and inflammation.
Precautions & Warnings :-
• Avoid using Alcarex KT Eye Drop if you are allergic to Alcaftadinen and Ketorolac.
• Alcarex KT Eye Drop is prescribed for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis.
• Alcarex KT Eye Drop should normally be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly serious, your doctor can suggest you use them for four times a day.
• Rinse your hands first before applying Alcarex KT Eye Drop. Do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface to avoid contamination,
• After applying Alcarex KT Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Put on gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes.
• This will cure the medication from draining out. Do not blink or rub your eye.
Avoid wearing contact lenses till your symptoms are completely gone.
• Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than normal. Wearing sunglasses can help to cure this.
• Along with using Alcarex KT Eye Drop, give warm compress to your eyes to get releive from itching and burning sensation.
• Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other, and to other members of your family. Wash your hands daily (particularly after touching your eyes) and do not share your towels or pillows. This will help to cure the infection from spreading.
