Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet consists of :Sitagliptin Phosphate 50 mg and Dapagliflozin 5 mg.
Sitagliptin is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors.
Dapagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitors.

Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine. Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet is used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.
Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet Dosage :-
Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet as directed by your doctor.
Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet can be taken with or without food, and should be swallowed whole and tablets must not be split, crushed, or chewed before swallowing.

Dapagliflozin works by blocking a protein in the kidney Which is called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitors. SGLT2 is a protein Which absorbs glucose from the urine into the blood flow as it is filtered into the blood kidney.
By blocking the action of SGLT2, dapagliflozin causes the removal of excess glucose through urine, which reduces the level of glucose in the blood.

Precautions Warnings :-
• Do not take Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet, if you are allergic to Sitagliptin Phosphate & Dapagliflozin or any of the other ingredients of Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet.
• Type 1 Diabetes : Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet is not suggested for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
• Drinking of alcohol is not suggested during treatment with Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet due to the grown risk of critical adverse effects.
• Sitadapa 50/5 Tablet is not suggested for use in children and adolescents since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
