MO 4 Eye Ointment is an antibiotic. MO 4 Eye Ointment is used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, an eye infection caused by bacteria, also known as pink eye. It is a bacterial eye infection affecting the conjunctiva (a clear tissue covering the white part of your eyeball and lines the eyelid). This infection can  spread easily by direct or indirect contact with an infected person. 

MO 4 Eye Ointment Dosage :-

MO 4 Eye Ointment is a prescription medicine, and for external/opthalmic use only. MO 4 Eye Ointment dose, duration or treatment will be decided by your doctor. Complete the prescribed treatment of MO 4 Eye Ointment.

MO 4 Eye Ointment Side-effects :

Like all medicines, MO 4 Eye Ointment can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.

Thus MO 4 Eye Ointment prevents further growth of bacteria and kills the infection-causing bacteria.

• Avoid using MO 4 Eye Ointment if you are allergic to moxifloxacin.
• Critical allergic reactions to this medicine are rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as severe itching, redness, eye irritation, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light.
• If irritation persists or worsens during the use of MO 4 Eye Ointment, the use of MO 4 Eye Ointment must be discontinued and your doctor should be consulted.
• MO 4 Eye Ointment is not suggested for use if a child is below 1 year of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
• MO 4 Eye Ointment can be used during pregnancy upon your doctor's recommendation. consult your doctor.
• MO 4 Eye Ointment can be used while breastfeeding upon your doctor's recommendation. Consult your doctor.
• MO 4 Eye Ointment can cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
• Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria develop the capacity to defeat the medicine that was intended to kill them. So, to avoid such resistance, you should always complete the entire course of treatment with MO 4 Eye Ointment even if you feel better.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses if you have an eye infection.
• If you miss a dose of MO 4 Eye Ointment, use it as soon as you remember. So, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
