Stugeron Plus Tablet is prescribed for thr treatment of vertigo.

Stugeron Plus Tablet Composition :-

Stugeron Plus Tablet consists of : Cinnarizine 20 mg and Dimenhydrinate 40 mg
Cinnarizine is an calcium channel antagonist.
Dimenhydrinate is an antiallergic.

Stugeron Plus Tablet Uses :-

Dizitac tablet is used for the treatment of vertigo (a feeling of dizziness or spinning, commonly caused by a problem with the way balance works in the inner ear).

Stugeron Plus Tablet Dosage :-

Stugeron Plus Tablet is a prescription medicine.
Stugeron Plus Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. 
Take Stugeron Plus Tablet as advised by your doctor and preferably at a fixed time each day. Do not skip any doses, but if you miss a dose of Stugeron Plus Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. 
Finish the full course of treatment and never stop Stugeron Plus Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor.

Stugeron Plus Tablet Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Stugeron Plus Tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Drowsiness,
• Headache,
• Stomach pain,
• Dryness in mouth.
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

Stugeron Plus Tablet consists of : Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate.
Cinnarizine :
Cinnarizine is a calcium channel antagonist.
which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear.
Dimenhydrinate :
Dimenhydrinate is an antiallergic. Dimenhydrinate blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for light-headedness in vertigo.
Thus, Stugeron Plus Tablet is treats the treatment of vertigo.

Precautions Warnings :-

• Stugeron Plus Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. 
• Stugeron Plus Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
• Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
• Stugeron Plus Tablet is not suggested for use during pregnancy as limited information is available regarding its safety. So, consult your doctor before taking Stugeron Plus Tablet.
• Stugeron Plus Tablet is not suggested for use if you are breastfeeding as this medicine may pass into breastmilk. So, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. 
• Stugeron Plus Tablet may cause drowsiness in some cases. So, avoid performing activities that need high mental alertness such as driving vehicles or operating machines during the treatment with this medicine.
• Stugeron Plus Tablet should be used with caution if you have seizures (fits) as it can worsen your condition. 
• Stugeron Plus Tablet should be used with caution if you have/had glaucoma (a group of eye disorders caused by high fluid pressure inside the eyes). Stugeron Plus Tablet can trigger or aggravate the condition.
• Stugeron Plus Tablet can cause irregular heartbeat and alteration in blood pressure. So Stugeron Plus Tablet should be used with extreme caution if you have pre-existing heart problems. 
• Stugeron Plus Tablet may cause thickening of the bronchial secretions (mucous), which may obstruct the airways. Hence it should be used with caution if you have respiratory problems causing breathing difficulty, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Stugeron Plus Tablet can further worsen your condition. 
• Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that affects movement. Stugeron Plus Tablet should be used with caution if you have Parkinson's disease, as it can activate or aggravate your condition.
• Kidney/liver Disease :
Stugeron Plus Tablet is broken down in the liver and filtered out through the kidneys. Therefore, it should be used with caution if you have liver or kidney problems due to the increased risk of side effects. Your doctor can adjust the dose based on your clinical condition.
Stugeron Plus Tablet interaction with other medicine such as:  Amitriptyline, Tramadol, Diazepam, Amantadine, Topiramate, Duloxetine, Chlorpromazine and Zonisamide etc.
