Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet consists of :Sitagliptin Phosphate 50 mg and Dapagliflozin 5 mg.
Sitagliptin is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors.
Dapagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitors.

Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine. Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet is used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.
Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet Dosage :-
Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet as directed by your doctor.
Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet can be taken with or without food, and should be swallowed whole and tablets must not be split, crushed, or chewed before swallowing.

Sitagliptin phosphate helps to increase the levels of insulin produced after a meal and decreases the amount of sugar made by the body.
Dapagliflozin works by blocking a protein in the kidney Which is called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitors. SGLT2 is a protein Which absorbs glucose from the urine into the blood flow as it is filtered into the blood kidney.
By blocking the action of SGLT2, dapagliflozin causes the removal of excess glucose through urine, which reduces the level of glucose in the blood.

• Do not take Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet, if you are allergic to Sitagliptin Phosphate & Dapagliflozin or any of the other ingredients of Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet.
• Type 1 Diabetes : Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet is not suggested for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
• Drinking of alcohol is not suggested during treatment with Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet due to the grown risk of critical adverse effects.
• Dapanorm Duo 5 Tablet is not suggested for use in children and adolescents since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
