Etoricoxib is a pain-relieving medicine.

Etoricoxib Dosage forms & Strength :-

• Etoricoxib 60 mg Tablet for oral administration only.
• Etoricoxib 90 mg Tablet for oral administration only.
• Etoricoxib 120 mg Tablet for oral administration only.

Etoricoxib Uses :-

Etoricoxib is a painkiller. Etoricoxib give relief from pain, stiffness, and swelling due to many different conditions related to ankylosing spondylitis (pain and stiffness of bones of the spine), rheumatoid arthritis (swelling and pain in the small joints of your body), osteoarthritis (tender and painful joints due to wear down of protective cartilage between the ends of the bones), etc.
Etoricoxib is used to relieve pain after dental surgery.
• Ankylosing Spondylitis :
Ankylosing spondylitis is a painful condition that take place when bones of the vertebra (the small bones of the spine) fuse together which lead to stiffness, pain, and alteration in body posture. Etoricoxib is used to relieve stiffness and pain (mostly in the lower back, hip, and pelvis) connected with this condition.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a condition in which your body's immune system attacks the small joints and damages them. It can lead to swelling, pain, and stiffness of joints. Etoricoxib is used to relieve pain and swelling due to rheumatoid arthritis.
• Osteoarthritis :
Osteoarthritis is a joint disorder characterized by tender and painful joints. It take place when the protective cartilage that acts as a cushion between two ends of bones wears down. Etoricoxib is used to relieve pain and stiffness because of this condition.

Etoricoxib Dosage :-

Etoricoxib is a prescription medicine, and should be take as directed by your doctor.
Etoricoxib should be taken with food, and should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. 
Do not chew, bite or break Etoricoxib.
Your doctor will suggest you on how frequently you take your tablets based on your medical condition. 
You should take it daily as suggested by your doctor. 
Your doctor can change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs.
Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than prescribed by your doctor.

Etoricoxib Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Etoricoxib can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects. Some side-effect of Etoricoxib : 
• Increased blood pressure,
• dizziness,
• diarrhoea,
• indigestion,
• stomach pain, etc.
All these are not the possible side effects of Etoricoxib.
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• Etoricoxib is not suggested for use if you are allergic to etoricoxib. or other similar medicines such as Paracetamol, Aspirin, etc. 
• Etoricoxib is not suggested in children below 16 years of age as the safety and efficacy data is not established.
• Ask your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding before taking Etoricoxib.
• If you feel dizzy and sleepy, Avoid driving and operate heavy machines while Etoricoxib.
• Avoid taking Etoricoxib if you have kidney problems or liver problems, and/or heart problems.
• Use Etoricoxib with caution if you have high blood cholesterol levels and/or diabetes.
