Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine. Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is also used alone or in combination with certain other antidiabetic medicines. (such as insulin, sulfonylurea or glitazone)
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet helps to increase the levels of insulin produced after a meal and decreases the amount of sugar made by the body.

Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet Dosage :-

Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet as directed by your doctor. 
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet can be taken with food, and should be swallowed whole and tablets must not be split, crushed, or chewed before swallowing.
Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor.
Never self-medicate or change the dosage without a doctor's advice.

Sitagliptin phosphate is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors.
Sitagliptin phosphate helps to increase the levels of insulin produced after a meal and decreases the amount of sugar made by the body.
Metformin is a biguanide. Metformin delays the absorption of glucose from the intestines, by reducing the production of glucose in the liver. Metformin works by increasing the sensitivity of the body to insulin.
Thus, Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet that control high blood sugar levels in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Precautions Warnings :-

• Do not take Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet, if you are allergic to sitagliptin or metformin or any of the other ingredients of Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet.
• Severe Kidney Impairment :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is not suggested for use in patients with a serious impairment of kidney function due to the grown risk of serious adverse effects.
• Metabolic Acidosis :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is not suggested for use in patients with metabolic acidosis it can worsen the patient's condition.
• Pregnancy :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is not suggested for use in pregnant women untill it is necessary. All the risks and benefits must be discussed with the doctor before taking Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet.
• Breast-feeding :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is not suggested for use in breastfeeding women untill it is necessary. All the risks and benefits must be discussed with the doctor before taking Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet. Your doctor can suggest a safer alternative based on your clinical condition.
• Bullous Pemphigoid :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet should be used with caution due to the grown risk of bullous pemphigoid, a hypersensitivity reaction of the skin. Any uncommon symptoms like skin blisters or skin rashes should be reported to the doctor on priority. Therapy with the medicine can be discontinued based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is not suggested for use in patients with a known history of diabetic ketoacidosis due to the grown risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is not suggested for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
• Kidney Disease :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with a known history of kidney disease due to the grown risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Replacement with a suitable alternative can be needed based on the clinical condition of the patient.
• Alcohol Use :
Drinking of alcohol is not suggested during treatment with Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet due to the grown risk of critical adverse effects.
• Stress :
Use of Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet must be discontinued in patients exposed to stressful conditions like a fever, trauma, surgeries, or accidents since it can not be helpfull in controlling blood sugar levels in these conditions. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered under your doctor's supervision.
• Diarrhea :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet can give rise to diarrhea when therapy is initiated. In most cases, diarrhea subsides by itself. Talk your doctor if the problem continue for longer durations. Therapy can need to be discontinued in some cases based on the clinical condition.
• Vitamin B12 Deficiency :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet must be used with very caution in patients with vitamin B12 deficiency since it can worsen the patient's condition. Appropriate vitamin B12 supplementation and dose adjustments can be needed in some cases.
• Pancreatitis :

• Renal Dysfunction :
Drinking of alcohol is not suggested during treatment with Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet due to the grown risk of critical adverse effects. must be used with very caution in patients with a history of kidney diseases due to the grown risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Replacement with a suitable alternative can be needed based on the clinical condition.
• Lactic Acidosis :
Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet can give rise to lactic acidosis in some patients. This risk is mostly higher in patients with kidney diseases, heart diseases, or septicemia. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels, kidney function, heart function, and liver function can be needed for such patients based on the clinical condition. Report any symptoms like fatigue, breathing difficulty, increased sleep, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate corrective measures and discontinuation of therapy can be needed in some cases based on the clinical condition.
• Sitaclass M 50/1000 Tablet is not suggested for use in children and adolescents since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
